Asked for bottled lemonade but the bar tender handed me soda water or sprite from those tubes….!!! 🥺🥺🥺🥺 and he charged me £5 for that. But when I asked him to give the bottled lemonade he said sorry..!!!😔😔😔😔😔. And I really don’t know why. I just took the glass and disappointedly leave the corner….!! 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺…such a poor and bad service. Not welcoming at all.
Golden Eagle Carterton.Went to celebrate husband 60th with family. We ordered the Festive Christmas meal before hand, as needed ti be ordered by 29th November. We had 3 courses and eat one was Great quality, Great amount, and cooked perfectly. Portions were very good so much so, husband and I had ask for time before deserts.Staff excellent and provid good service clearing plates, asking if needed anything else ie: cranberry, more gravy. Would Recommend !
Following a dreadful experience with a poor meal served late, and minus many of the promised dishes, I was pleased to be refunded and also compensated with vouchers. This led to me researching and visiting other G K pubs in my locality (Braintree area), and I've had some nice lunches during the year. It does annoy me though, when I am paying for a meal and make a reasonable request, and the plate of food comes with the request ignored. "No, the chef knows how to present this dish!" said the waiter this time, and so it seemed I wasn't allowed any input! I know it's "pub grub" but how cheeky that was.
Went to the Thatched House in Portsmouth.Great pub, good food but they're app sucks.Ordered onion rings and a tomato juice but my order took a really long time, so I asked at the counter on an update turns out it was a bug with the app, fix your app.
Went to the star in congresbury last night , never again ! The food was cold , the carvery was a mess with food all over the floor . And the worst thing was an infestation of flies near the bar area and carvery ! Needs new management and pest control asap !! Avoid 😡😡
I am absolutely appalled that my dad used his disabled badge and actually paid for the meal in this pub and now we have a £100 parking fee ????? Absolutely disgusting behaviour!! Don’t send us photos of the time we arrived and left !! Check your receipts you disgusting rip off merchants!!! If this is how you treat people then get ready because I will spread this far and wide . You should be ashamed of yourself and I will never use you again !!!!
