I recently changed from having a big garden bag to the smaller Garden Bin for my waist collection. With the garden bag, the collection team took the bag from inside my property and returned the empty bag to inside my property. However, I found out with a wheelie bin, even though I pay extra to have it taken from my property rather than left on the curbside, they take it from the property, but they leave it on the curb. So if you’re going away on collection day, you have to organizing someone else to bring your bin in. I rang the company and said they need to make it clear that when you pay extra to have a property collection that it’s actually only a one-way collection they’re explanation was that before emptying your bin a team member from the company comes and takes all the bins out to the curb. A truck then picks a bin up from a curb, but the driver doesn’t get out of the truck therefore it is only returned to the curb. If there is no team member that returns them to the Property. I’ve said to the company that I will be checking the website to make sure that they have changed their advertised wording to make it clear to customers that when they pay for property pick up that there is no returning of the bin to the property.
When I did want or try to make my complaint via email through the portals that they recommend none of them were active. This has frequently occurred for me. A company that has misleading information and very difficult to communicate with other than a phone call in their limited office hours.

Have been using this service for 5 years or so. Great. However over the last year have been getting more and more unreliable. Notifying of pickup then not showing. Slow to respond to email. Coming back with excuses like can't find the bag. It's been in the same spot for 5 years. Again slow to respond and asked for pics of the location, then they collected. Next collection was the same routine, emailed with our complaints and requested additional collection as they are well behind on contractual agreement. They then respond by saying they can't collect from our drive for policy reasons. Asked then to close our account and collect their bags. No response but still took another payment. (I can back a 6m boat down no problem) Since have notified of a pick up. Now need to contact the bank to stop our direct debit before they steal more with no service.This company is extremely unreliable and difficult to deal with. RIP OFF DONT USE.
We've used this business for quite a long time and they used to be good, but things have obviously changed. They didn't pick up my last collection because it was 'too heavy' even then it wasn't right to the top and it was no heavier than it's ever been. Had to contact them through their web site. Never heard anything back so rang a couple of days later ( had to google their phone number as they don't have it on the website. They obviously hadn't looked at my message and had to find it and then read it. They agreed to send they guy to collect it after the weekend on the Monday. Of course he never came. Very poor customer service. I think the collection guy just does as he wants and they have lost control of him. I do not recommend.
I am a 73 lady and been with this company for years. All of a sudden my driveway has become too long and they have told me I have to put my bag at end if driveway. Even if I could drag it down there I wouldn't. They use a trolley and in the past has been no problem. Laziness I think. Then they came and tried to take bags away, told driver to leave them, and I was lucky enough to be able to talk to them, and apparently they had cancelled my contract without telling me. Who does that. DONT USE THIS FIRM IF YOU WANT REGULAR PICK UPS, HELPFUL COMPANY.Been in touch with another company who gave been awesome to deal with they are called a colour and Collect, use them and Much cheaper
These guys are TERRIBLE, we have been with them for years. When the truck arrived last we were working in the yard, bag was half full so we quickly popped the sticks we had in the bag, the driver said "i haven't got time for this shit" and then charged us $60 for a double bag pick up.
DO NOT USE!!! We got charged twice in the same month (June) so we contacted them, which isn't the easiest to do as you can only do this as an on-line complaint. And they use a NO-REPLY email so you can not reply back. They did reply to say the next payment would be in November. But another payment came out in July. I have sent another complaint so I will see what they come back with but at this rate I will be looking at cancelling this service. Seems like they are just taking our money.
Nearly every 6 months I have to contact them re the billing.The monthly collection goes randomly to 3 weekly, whatever suits them.Contacting is near impossible. now I find my pin is no longer valid. so time consuming so unprofessional.Is there another company on Aucklands' North Shore??
i have a prepaid account with this bunch of clowns and I put my two bins out for collection side by side and they emptied one I contacted after a great hassle as they make it near impossible to do so , after a lot of being screwed around they said to have the bin out for the followin Friday which was yesterday and again no collection I recieved an email this morning to put it out Monday I am so pissed off with this bunch of untrained monkeys as I had just been released from hospital after having serious surgery and I am not even supposed to be out of bed as I am covered in stitches an moving a green waste bin back and forward is not I should be doing as it is putting me in a great deal of pain so there is no way in hell I would recommend this bunch of losers to anyone . as for trying to log into your account on their site don't waste your time it does not work like the people that are emplyed there
CAUTION - READ BEFORE YOU OPT FOR THIS AWFUL SERVICE-greenfingers will email you 2-3 times confirming dates 4 pick up all of which will fall through and by the time you realize your bag will be picked up a month out from their pick up notifications.-their customer service will try to pacify you that your complaint for non pick up has been passed on to management and the pick up driver which of course has not cause if it were your waste bag would've been picked up initially when you lodged complaint 3 weeks earlier -this joke of a service is laughable and exhausting please save yourself and consider an alternative to this BS company
