Unfortunately I didn't read the reviews before using this service. Actually 'service' is the wrong description; there isn't any. When I booked a pickup, the automatic booking system said I would have to wait 5-6 weeks. I sent a message to see if it could be any earlier and to request another bag - no response.
Finally canceled after months of inaccurate collections and was charged a whooping last payment amount that they just took off my creditcard without authorisation. I always paid my invoice via creditcard not direct debit and when questioned about the illegal payment they had no response. Do not use this company! They are crooks.
I paid for this service on behalf of a family member. Greenfingers charge you in advance and don't make it clear how much credit you are using up in your financial history, so you receive invoices demanding payment at odd times throughout the year. Plus they don't reply to emails sent through the customer portal, or address your concerns in a timely manner. Unless you have direct control of both payment and the outgoing garden waste, I don't recommend Greenfingers.
I paid for this service but previously owned by Garden bags. Greenfingers charge you in advance and no clear financial history, so you receive invoices at odd times. No one servicing there daily online presence. They don't reply to emails sent through the customer portal, or address your concerns in a timely manner. I was getting billed for a service i did not receive more than once. In the invoice it states that the truck GPS has it located to my address, so my unanswered question was.... why wasn't my bag changed? I have canceled my account but have been charged another month and noted collection of bin will be 7 to 120 days.I don't recommend Greenfingers.
We signed up with Greenfingers bags in December 2022 after having an average experience with waste management hoping for better service. It is now March and we haven't been able to get one collection! We have emailed and called several times to receive lame excuses like oh i don't know what happened it looks like you were missed off the schedule or that it hasn't been collected on our street despite us witnessing them driving off after emptying our neighbours that morning. I have never been more disappointed with a company.
Don’t use this company… they don’t empty your bin for days, if you don’t leave it out they charge you without collecting. Extremely hard to get hold of and don’t follow through with what they tell you! Continued missed pick ups and false excuses! Would definitely not recommend them to anyone!
Needed a garden waste bin in East Tamaki in Auckland and found Greenfingers Garden bags & bins online. The price seemed reasonable and I'm in fact really happy with their price. Ordering was easy and straightforward online, the bin was delivered shortly after my order and they have been very diligent in their collection on the date that they have communicated. I even receive an email reminders a few days before.What's more, last time I forgot to put out the bin (despite receiving the reminder email) and since our bin is behind a locked gate, they couldn't empty it. That was on a Tuesday. Then on the following Saturday I noticed a Greenfingers truck driving past and to my surprise it stopped. Apparently the driver actually remembered that he didn't find our bin 4 days earlier and he offered to empty it. I was blown away. What a great service from the guy!I have nothing but good experiences and praise for this company!
