My mother lives in the Dublin 12 area and I’d like to share her experience with Greyhound. Over the last few years, on my recommendation, she has called Greyhound customer service to ask if it would be possible to have her emptied bins left outside her house after being emptied. Instead of being left outside either 3 or 4 houses in either direction. (Just to note her house is on a main road and there are no cars parked on the street that would prevent this.)This is a big deal for her as she is a senior and needs a support to walk. Her eyes are also very bad and she’s not very confident on her own. Each time she has called she has been assured that attention will be given to this matter, however nothing changes. In contrast, I use Thorntons and live on a side street off the main road, which is packed with cars, and our bins are ALWAYS left right outside our house… So it is possible! I’m writing this review just so elderly people might get some perspective before deciding on Greyhound. I’ve no confidence that anything will change, but am confident this review, like all the telephone calls, will fall on deaf ears. It’s evident the company doesn’t care.
Signed up and didn't get any bins so I called back after 5 days and the said I still wouldn't get them for another 3 days. The indian call centre lied to me and said they'd deliver today however when pressed for confirmation they admitted they couldn't promise same.
If you’ve ever dreamed of watching your waste take a scenic tour of your street before vanishing into the abyss of inefficiency, Greyhound Recycling is the service for you.Let’s be honest: they don’t so much collect rubbish as redistribute it. Every bin day is like a reverse magic show – you start with full bins, and somehow end up with more trash on the ground than you started with. It’s almost impressive. Like a twisted environmentalist's paradox: the more they come, the worse the street looks.Their trucks leave a trail of chaos in their wake, like metallic tumbleweeds of mismanagement, scattering recycling across driveways, gutters, and any available storm drain. If Greyhound had a motto, it should be: "Creating more mess so you don’t have to."Customer service? Imagine shouting into a landfill and hoping for a reply. Spoiler alert: the landfill is more responsive. In short, Greyhound Recycling isn’t so much helping the planet as giving it a nervous breakdown. 10/10 for irony, 0/10 for actual waste collection.Avoid if you value clean streets, competent service, or the concept of recycling itself.
Terrible ,so angry they booked me in for a Friday I had all workers ready to help .I had to contact them and no skip available to deliver after booking it in and paying,I wouldn’t Recommend this company .left high and dry disgraceful stop overbooking unfair to customers.
