Our insurance which is also a CVS company sometimes only covers the name brand. CVS 6704 will only fill it with the generic. The insurance company than sends me a letter telling me my prescription is not covered. They also charge more since the prescription is not covered. The pharmacy CVS 6704 said they can't fill the name brand (which is the one covered by their insurance) unless I have a prescription stating it is medically necessary. This creates more problems. This has happened for 2 prescriptions this month. CVS pharmacy nor their insurance company is able to resolve. Depending on who I talk to I get a different story. I am suspicious CVS 6704 added a deceptive prescription, and changed another one.

The worst website and support ever. MySpace worked better than this ridiculous excuse for a web app.

The worst website and support ever. MySpace worked better than this ridiculous excuse for a web app.

Just randomly changed the pick-up location to from TX to RI. No way to cancel the order, phone support is just useless/clueless AI agent.

Questioning the Viability of This Business

Why is this establishment still operating? If a healthcare provider genuinely prioritizes your well-being, they should avoid using this service for prescriptions. This company is notorious for overcharging consumers and seems more interested in profits than in people. I have a strong dislike for this service.

Extremely Slow Service and Poor Customer Care

Like many others, I find the service to be incredibly slow and lacking in customer support. I purchased several items advertised as '50% off', but after a long wait in line, I discovered that none of them were discounted. The promotional signs misleadingly featured 'buy one get one' in tiny print while '50% OFF' was prominently displayed, which is why I chose that brand. Unfortunately, it was not actually 50% off. There is no sense of urgency or efficiency, leading to constant long lines that move at a crawl. When complaints are voiced, management feigns concern, but it feels insincere. I'm relieved that there are better alternatives for prescriptions now, as I certainly won't be returning.

Extremely Disappointed with the Service

If I could give a score lower than one, I would. The service has declined to the point where it feels non-existent. I've been trying for over two weeks to reach the pharmacy, and the automated system for handling calls is utterly ineffective. The online platform is just as frustrating; neither system is functioning correctly. The programming team needs to reevaluate their approach. The voicemail system attempts to guess the purpose of my call, cycling through numerous irrelevant options. When I try to refill a prescription online, nothing happens, and this has persisted for at least five days. After being a loyal customer for many years, I'm now forced to say goodbye to this service. I can’t endure this level of frustration anymore!

Terrible Experience at the Pharmacy

I visited the pharmacy on East Chester in High Point to collect three prescriptions. I've been on the same medication for years, and this is my second year with this insurance. Nothing has changed in that time. Two of the medications have always been free, and I typically use a coupon for the third, although the pharmacy usually offers a better price with my insurance. The staff member at the window was friendly, but that was the extent of the good service. To make a long story short, the total for the three prescriptions was over $200. I repeatedly explained that two of them should be free and that I never pay more than $40 for all three, but she insisted the charges were correct. I was completely out of one medication, so I had to purchase it for $67, which should have been free. It was only two hours before closing time, and she suggested I wait and call my insurance, which was not feasible since I needed one of the medications that night. Given that nothing has changed, I shouldn't have had to deal with this. Once home, I called my insurance, and they confirmed my coverage was active with no gaps, and that the two medications should indeed be free as usual. The insurance representative also stated that no claim had been submitted for the purchase that evening. Now, I have to return tomorrow to speak with a pharmacist and attempt to get a refund. This is unacceptable. It would be somewhat understandable, though still frustrating, if my insurance had changed, but it hasn’t. I dislike the idea of returning to sort this out. I left with only one of the three prescriptions and paid double what I usually do for all three. After this incident, I checked reviews and saw that this location has a 2.8 out of 5 rating. I recently recommended that my mother transfer her prescriptions there for convenience, and I'm worried I might regret that decision. She is not one to tolerate mistakes and will likely be much less patient if they mishandle her prescriptions.

Frustrating Experience at the Local Pharmacy

I am extremely frustrated with the local pharmacy. Previously, the staff seemed unapproachable and condescending, but I continued to visit for convenience. However, that's no longer the case. After my heart valve replacement a year ago, I was instructed to take an antibiotic called amoxicillin before any dental procedures. My heart surgeon provided me with a three-year supply of refills. Yesterday, I experienced a severe toothache and rushed to get it treated. When I arrived at the pharmacy to fill my prescription, a bald pharmacist with glasses informed me, "your doctor can give you as many refills as he pleases, but your prescription expires after a year," adding with a smirk, "and it expired 2 days ago." I inquired why the pharmacy hadn’t contacted my doctor, and he claimed they were waiting for confirmation. The issue is that he showed no concern for my toothache. Why couldn't he have provided me with at least a couple of tablets to tide me over until I could see my dentist? He noticed that I had numerous refills and that it expired just two days ago, yet now I must endure this pain until I can reach my doctor. I had to cancel my dental appointment due to not having the medication I need. It makes me wonder why bureaucracy often takes precedence over compassion these days.

Lack of support for issues caused by store staff

The support team was unhelpful in resolving a problem caused by a staff member at the local store. The staff made an error while signing me up for a subscription to their paid membership, resulting in me being charged twice the promotional rate. When I brought this to their attention, they directed me to reach out to online support for assistance. After waiting 10 days for a response (the website claims a turnaround of 2 business days), I received a response that merely repeated my concerns and essentially said, "too bad."

Extremely Disappointing Experience

I can't believe this. I purchased a $53 heat pad with auto shutoff, and when I got home, it turned out to be USED and non-functional. It was poorly packaged—the cord was just shoved in, and the twist tie was messy on one side. The cord was already connected to the pad, which was dirty around the edges, and the plush material had lost its softness because it was clearly USED. When I plugged it into the wall, it didn’t even turn on! To make matters worse, I’ve bought three different heat pads from the same brand in the past year, and all three stopped working after the 30-day refund period. So today, I decided to try a different brand, only to find out that it was also USED. The manager mentioned they are facing “management issues,” and it seems like this place has had its share of problems recently. I will be requesting a refund and won’t be returning!

Extremely dissatisfied with the pharmacy service.

This pharmacy has been a major disappointment. After submitting a refill request, it shows as processing, but when I check back days later, it appears as if the request was never made. The request gets erased without any notification, leaving me in the lurch right when I need the prescription. It's unacceptable, especially for diabetic supplies!
