Obviously know NOTHING about trees and obviously don't care a jot about the environment. Hacked down a 500 yr old oak tree in Enfield. It's taken people a year to find out who hacked it down as they turned up in unmarked vans to do it and for some reason the pub chain (Toby Carvery), involved didn't make it public. Wonder how much the solid oak wood from this majestic tree was sold for? The Toby Carvery who ordered the felling is being taken to court by Enfield council, in order to terminate their lease. GOOD!! You would hope the cowboys that are Ground Control are prosecuted for such despicable vandalism. Seems they can't tell a dead tree from a healthy one, or can they 🤔. The Toby Carvery owners have links with a certain football club that wants to build a training ground adjacent to this area. Is it really that imbeciles have hacked the tree down in error or is something more afoot here. The truth will hopefully soon come to light. In the mean time why would anyone employ, at best, people that can't tell their arse from their elbow, yet profess to be experts, and at worst a bunch of criminals?
Shame on them! Who gives them the right to fell that healthy oak tree. Despicable! And they are cowards, hiding, laying low for a year. They knew they did wrong that's why they turned up in an unmarked van, otherwise they would have advertised their company especially because of Toby Carvery customers. Thieves! Hope they get prosecuted!

Don't go near this company they were wilfully negligent in obliterating a 500 year old veteran oak in Enfield. Their specious greenwashing claims about biodiversity are lame. One hopes they will be found accountable for their vandalism.
They have a very fancy website which boasts lots of wonderful ideals, unfortunately it is completely contradictory to the service that’s actually provided. The website would have you think that they are knowledgeable and care about the environment and the communities, But in reality the workers that they send out don’t fulfil the contracts paid for, and have so little knowledge and care that they aren’t capable of managing even the most basic tasks such as litter picking
Fancy website with grandiose claims that they care for the environment undermined by their unauthorised felling of a 500-year-old oak tree in Whitewebbs Park, Enfield. Recent surveys had found the tree to be in a sound condition and likely to live on for at least 50 more years (e.g. a Forestry Commission expert, who stated it to be healthy, with little justification for the felling).Strangely enough, the job (in April 2025) was done during the early hours of the morning, and Ground Control’s vans were photographed without the company’s logos or any other identification. It’s almost as though Ground Control were aware that what they were doing was unjustified and could lead to a public backlash if they were identified. A whole year later, investigators for a national newspaper learned that Ground Control were responsible. A senior conversation adviser at the Woodland Trust, Dr Ed Pyne, was quoted as saying: “There has been a lack of transparency throughout, so now it is time they answered some questions. What is the evidence that the tree was dangerous? What level of qualification and competency did Ground Control operatives have when they made this decision? We haven’t heard any solid justification for why this tree was removed.”
FOR A START IF I COULD I'D GIVE THEM 0 STARS.I visited a retail park that they maintain in Mansfield.Left my car for an hour and when I got back my car had been obliterated by weed/grass strimmings. Luckily for me no damage only a car needing washing.Surely a PROFESSIONAL company would protect your vehicle with a screen. They aren't professional purely amateur and in it as profit first everyone else can stuff it.I've been in contact with them and they offered to wash my car!!!!Would they have offered to respray my car should it have needed it. The answer to that is a resounding NO!!God knows what damage they have done to people's property where I was and elsewhere. They need to brush up on their customer service.USE THESE PROFESSIONALS AT YOUR PERIL!!!
