I parked at Waterfields Car Park Watford. I did some shopping and was back in my car well within the 2 hour limit. Unfortunately the car park exit was blocked and the car park jam packed. It took about 40 minutes to move. I was then over the two hour limit. Several days later I received notice of a charge 100 pounds. I explained the situation I was asked for proof of purchase which I provided. I was then asked to pay 20 pounds. I thought this was unjust. I was a victim of circumstances beyond my control. I wanted to end the matter so sent a cheque for 20 pound. However the cheque seems to have got lost. My bank says it has not been cashed. I have been told I now have to pay 100 pounds. I am the victim of circumstance with no control over these events.

An extremely frustrating experience. The machines are poorly maintained, prioritizing profit over patient care. The support team does not respond to alerts, and there are charges to exit online when machines fail, with fines still being enforced. Signage is inadequate, making navigation difficult and leading to unintentional entries into the parking area.

Serious issues with the service

This company is appalling and warrants investigation. After parking my car, I entered my registration as required, but they claim it was not registered and attempt to charge £100. Though appealing is straightforward, I still had to pay £20 each time. Now, after multiple attempts, the charge has escalated to £170, and they are threatening court action.

Awful experience with the service

Awful experience with the service. They fail to maintain their machines, profiting off patients at hospitals. The support team is unresponsive to alerts. You are charged to exit online when the machines malfunction, and fines are still imposed. The signage is poorly placed, making it impossible to turn around before entering the parking area.

Unacceptable situation during a hospital visit

During a visit to the hospital for my ill 93-year-old mother, I faced numerous issues with the service. I have reported the situation to a consumer advocacy group. The app has changed names and is now called TRUST, but the payment process is fraught with difficulties. Previously, card-only machines were adequate, but the current technology is confusing and ineffective. There’s no central contact number for genuine payment issues, and failure to pay within 24 hours results in a parking fine.

Excessive charges on top of fines

I want to give them zero stars because, in addition to fines, they impose a £1.50 admin fee or force you to pay a premium rate for phone support instead. They profit from the fines and then add insult with extra charges. I acknowledge parking fees are valid, but the additional charges are outrageous.

False claims and predatory practices – steer clear!

A letter was sent claiming my partner overstayed at a location for 15 hours, which is entirely false. He only stopped briefly to return an item. Thankfully, we have tracking evidence to prove his actual whereabouts. This service clearly issues unwarranted charges based on inaccurate data, and we will contest this vigorously.
