What a joke of a company. I order something to be delivered as I was heading home from work. The time said 4:30 and it’s almost an hour and the driver never picked up my food. He just is just sitting outside of some random store. I contacted grubhub and they would not cancel it. The gave me a credit if 5 dollars. I will never use this app again. FINALLY GOT A FULLY REFUND after the order got delayed for another hour.

My order was at 1pm, order was picked up at 1:21pm saying it was on it's way, then I got a notice saying there will be a delay and estimate time was 2:30 and then i talked to a live person to try to cancel the order but they have said they coudn't do that, so I waite a little longer and then time jumped again to 4pm... so live chat and requested for a refund again and representative said " why coudn't you wait a little longer" i was WTH.. and I demanded a refund and finally given... will never order Grubhub again.. terrible experience..

After one of their contracted drivers caused property damage. Grubhub only action was to ask the driver if he was responsible and willingly accepted the denial without any further investigation. Grubhub is happy with lies as long as it serves their interest.

I ordered my food and was delivered to wrong place . Was reordered and took to the same place by same courier. Call customer care and hung up on me. Neighbor from another building brought me cold food and I was asked was it opened and I confirmed i don't know what happened to food. It was delivered to someone house i don't know like I was suppose to eat the food. I requested my food to be reordered and a credit was told could not reorder food. What amazes me is why give a confirmation number if courier is not going to follow Grubhub policy. I am still unsatisfied with the help I received and the delivery they never happened. So to everyone please use Uber eats. The drivers are competent and customer care really do care. I will spend the night writing this review on every website I can find to give one

They need to do better with who they allow to deliver for them, I get a few regulars who are great, but outside of them orders are late, if they even show up at all, the drivers never respond and customer service thinks a 5$ credit for that will smooth things over. No start holding the people you choose to represent your business accountable.

GrubHub's MO is to accept an order and provide a reasonable ETA even when there are no couriers in the area. They then repeatedly push back the ETA so either the food arrives congealed and cold hours later or the restaurant finally closes and GrubHub is forced to cancel the order. Adequate customer service would consist of 1) ideally, not accepting orders they can't fullfil in a timely manner or 2) if an order has already been accepted and cannot be filled on time, providing a full refund. Instead of providing this adequate assistance with existing orders, they hand out discount codes for future orders. This benefits GrubHub more than the customer, since using the discount code means placing yet another order with GrubHub. I am done using their service. From now on, I will be sticking with restaurants that provide their own, independent delivery service and care about retaining their customers enough to treat them courteously.

I ordered Burger King and the driver delivered it to the wrong house. I texted her about it and she ignored me. I REORDERED and it happened again with a different driver. I contacted the driver who ignored me. TWICE in one night. Grub Hub needs to hire responsible drivers who can read English. I left step by step instructions on how to find me. I was waiting outside for both orders.

I’m beyond frustrated Grubhub for their continued and misleading service and delivery time. Today, I placed my order at 2:39 PM with a reasonable delivery window, only to watch the time continuously get pushed back until it showed 4:12 PM — nearly an hour and a half later.

When I called customer service, I was told they “don’t have any drivers available.” If there are no drivers, why is the app accepting orders and taking customers’ money in the first place?

This isn’t a minor delay, it’s poor planning and misleading service. Customers shouldn’t have to gamble on whether their food will show up at all. Completely unacceptable and a waste of time. I won’t be using Grubhub again.

AVOID GRUBHUB. There are WAY better alternatives (UberEats is great!) Their customer support is shockingly bad. The tone of the messages escalates before you even say anything, and despite not receiving my order at all I had to jump through five hoops to get a refund. When I gave a snarky reply to being offer a "$5 credit to my account" (when my order never arrived) they gave me a threatening response. Charge for food that doesn't arrive and THREATEN your customer. THANK YOU GRUBHUB!

I do not use Grubhub. Today I gave it a chance. The delivery driver missed my turn and when I texted her she did not answer. When she finally arrived my son was downstairs on the phone she claimed she could not give my son the food because of the 2 digit code. I explained to her there was no 2 digit code to give even though my son told her it’s the correct name and phone number. When I told her iam coming downstairs to show her there’s no 2 digit code she decided to take off with my food with my son standing in the cold. She saw me coming down the street and pulled off. I call this so called “D” lady over several times and she kept sending my calls to voicemail. Grubhub should ban her but won’t. She will continue to do the same to other people and they do not care. She will continue to take customers food for FREE because she didn’t pay for it and there are ZERO consequences to her actions. Customer service was horrible. The first rep sent me straight to a surgery. The second rep had zero anything (compassion, empathy, remorse, zero care)All they wanted to do was send out another order or give a refund. I would have never went through something like this from Uber eats or DoorDash they ban people like that immediately. Grubhub does NOT care about their customers they only care about their so called drivers who takes people food. If I could give this ZERO stars I would ! I would recommend any and everyone to NEVER use this app.
