I have had the most amazing hair journey with Dr Rafiq and his team on the 5th February.I was put at ease and technicians (Bolo,Mani)were absolutely experienced and all very happy.With my Prp injections were performed by Dr Shuaib and team Mani especially were wonderful(very little to no pain)I am happy about all and will recommend Hair Growth Clinic to everyone needing help with their hair issues.Reception amazing too.
On the 2nd of June, I paid £1200 to their public relations officer, P. This was after being pressed with an offer that was only supposedly for friends and family and would be expiring in 24 hours! I did not sign the contract that was sent to me via WhatsApp because I was not 100% sure about this treatment for me. On the 3rd of June, Ithe following day, I had gathered enough information to realise this was not the right treatment and promptly asked for a refund. P told me that the "refunds" team will deal with it, that she had no access to this team. She gave me an email to write to to ask for the refund. I thought that was strange because during the consultation which took place on a WhatsApp video call, P showed me around the clinic, showing me the different consultant's names on their respective office doors. How come she suddenly did not have access to the "refunds team"?2 days later or so, I received a reply to my email requesting for a refund that I should allow up to 8 business days to process my refund. This period passed but no refund. I contacted P again, who kept repeating that she had no contact with the refunds team. I sent another email enquiring about the refund and the same standard email response came through saying that I should allow up to 8 business days for my query to be dealt with, yet again. At this point, I have, unfortunately, realised that I made a big mistake parting with my money to this company. Today is 22nd of June. Luckily, I paid with my credit card. I will now contact the bank to recover my money.After, I confronted P, telling her that she showed me around the clinic, showing me the names of consultants, that how can she not have access? She changed her tune, telling me how the company is reputable and has traded for 12 years. Avoid this company, unless you are 100% sure you need their services...and with the experience that I have now had I could not trust them!EDIT: A few hours after leaving this review? Their management/ refund team sent me an email of a supposed contract/ agreement that I had signed. In the process of booking the free consultation, they make you sign. They then lift this signature and super impose it on the most ridiculous terms of contract you'll ever see in your life! They tooky payment on the 2nd but the contract is dated the 6th , the same day that I asked for the refund. No one in their right mind will sign that type of a contract which says that if your consultation was over the phone and you made payment, the 14 day cooling off period does not apply once you book a day for the procedure. Or that if you didn't book a day, you'd still pay £500 when cancelling within the 14 days cooling off period.These guys are scammers and should be avoided at all cost.They pressured me into paying for a procedure I soon after found out was not right for me and I cancelled, no terms contract read or signed by me and they are trying to hold me to a ridiculous contract I never sighted until a few hours ago after writing the first part of this review on trust pilot.
