We stayed in Mijas Spain. We stayed in a gated complex in a penthouse 2 bed apartment. Initially a wow place, but on closer inspection, the spiral staircase upto the roof terrace seemed unsafe, loose bars and severe rusting in places. Beds very firm, no protectors, pillows stained, mattress toppers in wardrobes seemingly unwashed. A shower curtain pole broken with a mouldy shower curtain. Food stuffs left in kitchen cupboards clearly unusable. We had no Internet for the first several days, but eventually sorted. The door on the balcony seemed weird to us, only a handle on the inside with no lock, what if there were children staying? They could open it easily.The property needs attention .It is in a fantastic location
