This service is anything but satisfactory. Their system fails to process refunds correctly if you have a hyphenated name, requiring you to wait for further assistance. Their fees are excessively high. It’s disappointing that the retailer is using such a subpar service.
This service is terrible. I created a return code at the start of the week and had to wait until the end of the week to take the item back. When I created the code the UPS Store was the first place listed to drop it off at. Go to the UPS Store. Happy Returns is a UPS company. Oh they no longer take Happy Returns as of “sometime” this week. And can’t take them for the next 4 weeks because they want you to go to Ulta to do it since they’re a new partner. So I go to Ulta to wait in line again and it takes forever because they have to scan at least 3 things other than your QR Code to initiate the return. And it’s not a shipping place so you have to wait for someone to be able to tend the Happy Returns kiosk. I wish companies would just let you print a label and be done.
The worst return management ever. UPS fedex or whatever other vendor shouldn’t be blamed for how this “happy returns” work. Because I looked into the process of how it works. It’s a very long process if I was the worker taking care of it. Take the item out, scan the barcode on the package. Don’t have the original package tell the customer to call them to get it fixed. Also why put “I prefer images over scanning the bar code” and “I don’t want to touch the item” if the policy is to scan the damn bar code on the package? I’m just standing there as the associate shows me the process and everything on there, It’s ridiculous how they manage this. Process is too LONG it’s frustrating for me as a customer and the associate.
UN happy. Why is the verifying of the items returned happening at the UPS counter and not at the vendor? I brought my sealed package to UPS, showed the QR code and then was asked "one bikini bottom?". I had to reply, "no, two full bikinis". It was embarrassing for me. It isn't UPS business what I bought and especially not the business of the other customers in line. AND, if they are going to verify my return at the UPS counter, I should also get my refund at that point. I shouldn't have to have it re-verified when it arrives at the vendor and wait for my refund. Makes no sense. I won't use it again.
I attempted to use Happy Returns to return an item purchased from Lands End. LE rep said that she would send email with QR code. It didn't go through. Sent repeatedly to each of my two emails. Not received. I gave up and had LE send me a regular mailing label and I dropped it off.Email arrived FIVE HOURS later.
There seems to be no way to track your return through their system or even contact them in any way. I have been waiting a month on my return to be listed in order for a gift certificate to be issued and after 3 calls to the company where i placed order and they are telling me that they havent't received anything return yet. so frustrating!
