These people handled all my creditors, got them off my back, reduced my stress and made managing my debt easy. • Require written acknowledgment that the client understands the co-signer remains fully liable
• Offer a proactive planning discussion for the spouse before filing
These steps would help ensure families are truly prepared — not just legally informed.
