Very negative experience in the Naas store

Had to return an expensive Coffee Machine 3 Months old.Naas store Manager was very rude and insisted it would have to be sent off to be assessed for 'customer misuse'. I tried to discuss my Consumer Protection rights and was told that my rights did not outweigh theirs !

A complaint has been made and is being dealt with internally apparently. If there is a manufacturing fault with the product the matter can be resolved ? Go figure

Purchase with this company at your own risk because you will be put through the ringer if anything goes wrong with it. So now I'm stuck without a machine until they can see if I broke it myself ! If surprise surprise this is what they determine, I will have to pursue this further by other means for redress.

Buy from somewhere else where you might receive better customer service and the presumption of honesty. If you bring a product back that stopped working after 3 months, then it's not fit for purpose.

Exceptional service from both delivery men. My American F/F was first on the delivery list for 9am. When the truck was opened my item had been placed first into the truck instead of last and both men unloaded multiple heavy items , washing machines, dishwashers, driers etc in order to access my purchase and they were delayed by almost an hour again reloading the other items. The driver said he had 19 drops to do that Saturday and he was not able to return in the evening. I was very surprised as it was not his fault the truck was packed incorrectly and it was not his responsibility to unload and reload everything. Anyone else would have said, sorry we cannot deliver today and would drive off. I was very surprised and very appreciative. Thank you HN

The product itself is good and I’m happy with what I bought. However, the Click & Collect service was very poor. I waited in my car for almost an hour and no one brought out my order. In the end, I had to go inside the store and tell staff that I had been waiting for over an hour.

I’m really not happy with this part of the experience. It was much better before, when you could collect orders directly from the warehouse.

I then went back to buy a second one for my husband and met Troy who like Mark fixed up the radio for use and was extremely helpful !
These two guys were great,very friendly and this was excellent customer service!
They should both get a bonus!

First off, I rang Harvey Norman Waterford branch to enquire about the Kenwood Mixer and they gave me all the advice that I needed. The particular product wasn't instore so they advised me to check online. It was on their online store so I ordered it at about 10am in the morning, it arrived an hour ago. And they really packed it well. Really impressed with the mixer and it certainly was the fastest delivery that I ever had. This was my first time buying from Harvey Norman and really recommend this company.

On the morning of delivery was told by the delivery folk, not the store, that the oven i bought for nearly 700e was out of stock. Add to that, the store could not say when it would be back in stock and to contact Whirlpool who said HN should know. Fridge was not installed due to a plug position and informed after the fact that now our oven may need a seperate hardwire socket, if it ever arrives. The delivery crew and installers however, were fantastic. Sp was the sales rep on the day. More the lack of communication that was frustrating

Went into harvey Norman drogheda to purchase a laptop on Saturday 31st of January, got it home & tryed everything to get it up & running for 3 hour's notting happen, brought it back to them & the chap said it would take 1 hour as it was blocked, went back to them after 3 hour's & the same chap was sitting on his phone doing notting I called him he said o it's was ready 45 minutes after you let, i said why didn't you ring me he said he was on lunch & went off , the staff are very rude, then another chap came over can I help you i said we're the chap i was dealing with he just went off & not fixing the laptop, he said o he's on his break, i said what he only back from lunch, so another 2 hour's in shop, totally 8 hour's to set up a laptop what a joke 😡😡😡& what a waste of a day, And then said can you come back tomorrow i said no I need it for work tomorrow, it was coming to 6pm so they were rushing to close the i could smell burning as they had so many wires plugged in it was a fire waiting to happen, NOT A HAPPY CUSTOMER 😡😡😡 They offered me a more expensive laptop to pay a extra €200 on top of what i paid, the shop is a joke workers hanging around on there phone & laptop's not helping anyone they wouldn't work on Duracel batteries, now I WANT CUSTOMER SERVICE TO RING ME ABOUT THIS MATTER ASAP.
