This new UI navigation is stupid, you can't click play or restart with the remote on Sharp Google TV because the look is weird, sorry HBO Max but I won't subscribe until this changes, please bring back the old interface because the better one is worse, thank you, best regards
The selection available in Austria is unfortunately quite limited, featuring very few movies or shows. I hope this improves throughout the year, but currently, it doesn't seem worth it. Additionally, there are far too many advertisements. For a 45-minute program, you're subjected to around 3 minutes of ads. In comparison, platforms like Disney+ or Prime have less than two minutes.
I've recently begun watching some shows on a streaming platform. 1) My main issue is that when the player transitions between the movie and advertisements, the volume levels fluctuate significantly. I usually set my headset volume to around 30, but for movies, I often have to increase it to 60 or even 80 to catch the dialogue. Then, when an ad plays, the volume spikes to an uncomfortable level, forcing me to quickly lower it back to 30. This inconsistency is not only annoying but also poses a risk to my hearing. 2) Additionally, the video player frequently loses its place when returning from an ad, causing me to rewatch scenes from much earlier in the movie. It feels as though the player forgets which ad break it was on and randomly starts from a previous one.
I've recently started using a streaming service for shows. My main issue is the drastic difference in volume when switching between the movie and ads. I usually set my headset volume around 30, but for movies, I have to crank it up to 60 or even 80 to catch the dialogue. Then, when an ad comes on, the volume is extremely loud, forcing me to quickly lower it back to 30. This is not only frustrating but also a concern for hearing safety. Additionally, the video player often loses its place after an ad, making me rewatch scenes from much earlier in the movie. It feels like the player forgets where it was.
I attempted to resubscribe through the website, and it turned into a frustrating experience. I kept receiving messages stating I couldn't change my plan. The provided suggestions were completely unhelpful and just led to more confusion. When I tried the chat support for assistance, I got nowhere, as there was no option for the issue I faced, and I couldn’t reach a real person. I have to wonder how this service remains operational with such poor support.
The customer service experience has been the worst! They were unhelpful, repeatedly sending the same email without addressing my concerns. After requesting help and even a supervisor, I found myself being charged twice for my subscription, and they showed no concern. Ultimately, I had to cancel.
This streaming service may be one of the worst in terms of quality. The platform seems unable to provide consistent buffering or maintain high quality, often downgrading the streaming experience. Even older films on other platforms are presented in better quality than new releases here. Those who prioritize stability over quality clearly don't deserve any praise.
This platform is the worst. I recommend avoiding it if possible. After moving to a new region, they offered a lifetime rate that later changed, increasing my subscription fee significantly. They downgraded the streaming quality, and now I have to pay more for less. As a loyal customer who signed up early, I feel completely taken advantage of. Additionally, the service crashes on my TV intermittently.
I joined about two weeks ago to watch a specific show, but I keep encountering a 404 error when trying to log in. I was promised the issue would be resolved in three days, or I would receive a full refund. If this isn’t addressed, my rating will drop from 2 stars to 1.
