Review Time
This was my first visit for my first CT coronary angigram and, as expected, I was quite nervous. However, the lady at reception made me feel very welcome and sorted out a parking pass for me. The chairs in the reception area, I sat on the two seater, were not very comfortable. Design over comfort here I feel. They were low and not easy to get out of once seated, and I'm quite fit and able. The staff were fantastic making sure I knew what was going on. I have Graves and they triple checked that it was okay to give me the iodine for the contrast scan as it could have been a problem, but all was okay. After my scan I was given coffee and asked to sit back in reception to wait for the all clear, BP etc. checked. Every member of staff was friendly, welcoming and thorough. I would recommend this lab for a CT coronary angigram.
Having scans and other tests checking your heart and its function has the potential to be very stressful.Having a team taking you through all of this process who immediately put you at ease, with the right balance of friendliness/humour and professionalism is hugely reassuring. What a great team! Highly recommended.
