A lovely environment

A lovely environment, welcoming. Very polite and very friendly, especially the nurse who kept an eye on me before i was allowed to leave due to low BP. A pleasant experience.

Welcomed and Looked-After

I felt welcome and looked-after from the moment I walked in for my scan. The busy reception area was clean, light, airy and comfortable. Two nurses and the radiographer each took time to explain what they were doing, and why; and reassured me about what to expect during the procedure. Because I had received an injection, they also kept a close watch on me after the procedure. Dr Leatham spent time to give me a clear explanation of the result and of the implications for my health. I came away feeling that I had been well cared-for.

The medical team was professional

The medical team was professional, calm and kind and very clear about what each procedure would involve. Medically, it could not be faulted. The only downside was clarity around appointment times: I waited for an hour and 20 minutes beyond my appointment time for my first scan with no communication from the outset about how long I would wait, or early clarification that there were going to be delays. The medical team was multi-tasking and very busy: consider delegating tea-making post-procedure and form-filling instruction to the reception desk which was largely quiet.

Wide choice of consultants and specialisms

Wide selection of specialist consultants. Extensive range of diagnostic equipment on site so no need to travel elsewhere. Fast appointment system so no lengthy waits to get investigation started. Personable and pleasant people to deal with. Easy access with free parking! Waiting room space is a bit haphazard and more tables would be useful perhaps with phone charging points.
