Contract change

We have been trying to change the names in the contract for over a year now. We have been calling Heimstaden every day to get the contract on us in order to get more rights than an "Untermiete". But no one dealt with our situation for several months now. We need help as soon as possible.

For over four days now the hot water…

For over four days now the hot water and heating remains destroyed. Heimstaden are aware of the issue but apparently in 6 degrees outside temperature - it is not considered a priority??! Not only can we not do any laundry, dishwashing, showering - we are also very cold and the house becomes uninhabitable. These landlords do not respond to emails, or call you back. And when you call them -you wait for over 15 minutes and then they hang up on you! Then they do not call back! A very terrible service - that too allowing us to suffer with small children, heavily pregnant people in the building and also a man recovering from surgery who cannot have his multiple showers per day as required by doctors orders. I am sure they will spend more time scrubbing online reviews rather than actually trying to help me.

Really bad experience, their cal centre is a nightmare and the challenges you face as a tenant endless, due to the insufficient maintenance of their buildings. Mold , heating issues, inoperative elevators… for approximately 20e per sqm

Bad customer service

The company takes months to fix even the smallest of problems. I had to get the Mieterverein involved several times. Poor communication. Lack of organization. I’m not sure if it is a case of incompetence or plain bad faith.

2 months and waiting for repair

Very bad at dealing with repairs and complaints. We reported a leak 2 months ago, and the repair is still not completed. One month ago they ripped out the floor to do the repair and since then we have been living without a floorNo response when I try and follow up, so we have no idea when this issue will finally be fixed. Really bad experience

Elevators are broken for more than 3 weeks in a 18 floor building

Wir wohnen in der Einbecker Straße 101, einem Gebäude mit 18 Stockwerken. Unsere beiden Fahrstühle funktionieren nicht mehr. Es ist schon fast einen Monat her, und die Aufzüge sind immer noch nicht repariert. Stellen Sie sich vor, wie sehr sich alle abmühen, besonders die Älteren. Aber natürlich halten sich die meisten Mieter nicht daran, und die vorübergehende Lösung ist fast unbrauchbar. Our two elevators no longer work. It's been almost a month and the elevators are still not fixed. Imagine how much everyone is struggling, especially the older ones. The elevator company says they need some parts that are not available in Germany. I don't know how many days people have to struggle to get through the 18 floors every day.They have found a temporary solution, the elevator only works up, but not down. But for it to work, the person using the elevator has to press button 1 in the elevator after using it. But of course, most tenants don't comply with this, and the temporary solution is almost useless. Please repair the elevator quickly, some medical emergencies may happen, the building is not safe at all now.

Terrible landlord

Terrible landlord, they rarely answer any emails, super high rents and it constantly looks like a dump with garbage everywhere in our inner yard. AVOID!!!!

Totally incompetent and not fulfilling their responsibility!

Worst landlord agency you can find in Berlin. They don't fulfill their responsibilities and are inexistent when they should be taking actions. This situation makes our day to day a nightmare having to deal with such an incompetent landlord.We've called and emailed the customer service for almost 2 months (dozen of times) regarding an issue of water leaking in the building. We cannot use any water, without causing a leak to our neighbor below, the issue is inside the walls and there is nothing we can do on our side. It is the law (## 535 ff. BGB) that landlords are responsible of any issues within the building's pipes. When reminding them of their obligations and their duty to lower our rent, we simply got no answers.Will update this review if anything happens, even after 2 months of constant calls/emails, we're still hopeful. (case number: R-312251147760)

COMPLETELY IRRESPONSIBLE AND COMPLETELY CARELESS

What is really strange is this huge amount of irresponsibility for a lot of money for an apartment. We rented an apartment that is supposed to be completely renovated and modern. The internet was restarted a month and a half later by another company we contacted, not this company !!!!!! The reason for the lack of internet was the breakdown of the TV and internet cables during the renovation of the apartment. The gas boiler in the apartment is connected incorrectly and we had two floods in the bathroom. The problem is still unsolved. The power box had a problem and we contacted them for about a month and a half. A problem was reported with the fuse box due to investigate the damage. Completely irresponsible and even to investigate the damage you have to go to him all the time, if you protest you are threatened.
