Horrible customer service. Tried contacting them 10 times because they were going to send me a box i never asked for, they don’t have a working number you can contact and they sent me the box anyways 3 days later and me pay for it. A very mediocre experience

Edit: they have contacted me and offered a full refund of the box. I am still quite frustrated as I have a large amount of food rotting away, but the customer service seems satisfactory if you can get a hold of them.

First order! Didn't want to go grocery shopping every 3 days for meal ideas, figured this would be great.
Nope, first off, late delivery, sitting on a truck somewhere. "Guarenteed to be fresh, is on a truck, may show up before 8pm so don't worry"
...meanwhile shows "delivery not attempted" - fine, whatever, so it shows up 10 something am next day, great. Bring it inside immediately (mind you we are in CANADA and this winter has been horrible), and load my brown bags with recipe cards into fridge. Fine. whatever, so now 5:30pm I pull out tacos for the night.
Nope, all the veggies are rotten. All completely frozen then thawed from sitting on some delivery truck overnight..
This was our first fricken box. I was so absolutely insanely livid, two nights in a row I had to send the half out for dinner supplies because I was about to cause world war 3 over dinner being incomplete 2 days in a row.

If I have to cook, then I might as well go do it myself. Whatever "services" you have for making things "easier" at your PRICES for convenience and "portions", omg everyone just go shopping and fricken meal prep. This was such a nightmare. I hate this service.

AWFUL DELIVERY SERVICE (written by a 3-year-old customer).

I still don't understand why HelloFresh Canada decided to degrade its delivery service so much, it has not been one but multiple weeks of non-compliance. They don't seem to understand that not having your box delivered on time directly impacts the quality of the food. No matter the "technology" of the box, I am a witness of the poor quality of the ingredients once the box doesn't arrive as planned.

Lack of Transparency in Shipping Costs

The company lacks honesty regarding shipping fees. They promote offers that are not fulfilled. I specifically requested diabetic recipes that include sugar, but I am dissatisfied with the service. I will not be ordering again.

Completely disappointing experience.

Completely disappointing experience. They delivered three days late and stated it would arrive in a refrigerated truck, but it was brought in a regular sedan! The single ice pack included was totally melted. After a lengthy argument, they agreed to refund us, but initially, they only offered to compensate for the two days of delayed meals, despite everything being unacceptable. I've canceled my subscription, and this was my very first order. It really leaves a lot to be desired.

Deceptive practices from this company

This company operates in a misleading manner. Initially, I was happy with their meal kit service, but when I wanted to deactivate my account, their representative suggested I keep it active and just pause it. My account was reactivated without my consent, and I was charged for a meal sent to my previous address while I was abroad. Upon returning and reaching out, I was told a refund was not possible. Their practices are quite shocking.

This company is unreliable

This company is unreliable. I liked their meal kit, but instead of deactivating my account, the customer service suggested I pause it. My account was activated without my consent, and I was charged for a meal sent to my old address while I was out of the country. When I returned and contacted them, they refused to issue a refund. Their practices are truly unacceptable.

Overwhelming communication

There are too many emails and offers to sort through, especially for newcomers. The order pages are confusing. I received 10 emails from Nov. 24 to Dec. 6. However, the meal descriptions are quite appetizing.
