Hellotax handles reporting and communication with tax authorities in these countries. I am satisfied with the service, and this applies to both routine transactions and, importantly, situations where complications arise and lengthy correspondence with tax authorities is required. Overall, based on my experience, I recommend Hellotax if you sell on Amazon using the FBA model.

The staff provides quick and excellent service, especially Cristiana, who consistently goes the extra mile. I often have issues with uploading, and her support makes the process stress-free, allowing me to focus on other priorities.
We have had multiple tax returns submitted to UK tax authority late resulting penalties/demerits - Been with HelloTax for 2 years, and it has been a headache the most of the time, mainly issues with their automated integrations which aren't that automated (we've been manually uploading Shopify sales each month this whole time) - these misfilings with the UK tax authority are the last straw! Looking for an alternative and will be moving away from HelloTax (likely Staxxer)
It's freaking awful. I'm not exaggerating. No support, stupid support, slow support - when I signed up I told them the speed of my registration was by far the most important thing - then their support proceeded to reply every other day, while not really clarifying a very confusing registration process to help move it along. It's been 3 weeks (I saw someone wait 1 YEAR in these reviews which is insane). The absolute lack of support and professionalism is staggering. I should have read the trustpilot before paying - now regret it immensely. CEO - you're a business owner too and you must know how infuriating it is to have your business be bottlenecked by slowness and apathy. Frankly get your shit together - every one of your customers is signing up to pay you in the multiple thousands minimum a year. Act like it!
Stay Away from HELLOTAX – Total Scam!I subscribed to Hellotax on October 22 for their VAT and OSS registration service, paying for a full year upfront.Only after signing up I learned that VAT registration takes 2–3 months to become active — yet Hellotax started charging me from October 1st, weeks before I even paid or could use the service.Their policy means you end up paying for months of “service” without any actual service provided.When I realized this and requested a cancellation and refund, 10 days later, they ignored multiple emails for days and eventually refused to refund my $2,500, hiding behind their shady terms.⚠️ Avoid Hellotax at all costs — they are dishonest, unhelpful, and operate like a scam.
Everything was fine until we were audited, at which point we quickly discovered that the tax advisor assigned to us lacked understanding of how taxes work in the EU and had submitted inaccurate tax returns. When things go wrong, HelloTax lacks accountability; even if the error is theirs, they will take this as an opportunity to charge you more.If you are running a serious business and wish to avoid hefty penalties from the tax authorities, do yourself a favour and avoid.
