Review Time
Up until tonight my wife & I were daily viewers. We’ve always realized the network is far left of center, but watched/enjoyed nonetheless. But tonight when we started to watch a show of one husband with 2 wives, you lost us and we are now done with HGTV. Advice, keep it middle of America so it’s relatable to the majority.
There are too many competing shows on now. Also so many of the female host are all about “Look at Me”. I still watch Home Town, Fixer to Fabulous. All your viewers are not millionaires. Please get back to shows us everyday people can relate to. You are losing viewers
I like a lot of the hgtv shows that are from the past and also current. I do have an observation to make. I'm now just glancing at Down Home Fab, and I'm not understanding why they are thinking of removing the window in the bathroom?🤔The window would allow natural light and also if you need to open it to air out the bathroom. I see this on a lot of your shows, but for the life of me I cannot understand it. If it is in the way of where to put the sinks or the door, I can understand, but if it is in its own space I do not see why. I know they will also probably add a exhaust fan, but still.....🤔Im from another country and we have windows in our bathrooms. This is just strange to me. Does anyone else find this odd??
Just watched "House of Ali" and what is this show showing us??Nothing is natural, I'm aware all the shows are scripted and I give every show a chance and this was the biggest disappointment. Let's give the audience the real life experience. I'm a interior designer and painter by trade (retired) and this one hurt to watch. Let her be what she is, but not on TV.Jeffrey N.Kelowna BC.
I think HGTV should go back to the basics. I'm a regular person, so I'm not interested in million dollar homes. Many of these shows are about these expensive homes and expensive designs. I think that is why they are losing viewers. Basic designs, good carpentry work, good host (who are not cussing), and just good family base shows. Maybe they will get back viewers. I have stopped watching a lot of shows because of the millions dollar renos, the curse words, the infantile behaviours and the inappropriate behavior (if there are 2 hosts). Too much for a family station. Go back to gardening, kitchen and dining upgrades, bedroom and bathroom renos, etc.I'm just being honest
I have been a fan since the beginning. I love decorating and home improvement shows. I am not a fan of some of the current shows. I guess one aired tonight. I don't want to see ugly houses or weird houses. I don't like either one of these.
Hi I'm very big fan of hgtv. I'm really like every episode of it, but today I have ben watching episode with Frankie and her mom buying house and I thing that was most boring episode ever. I never watch that bad episode. Just really bad episode, should never Benn playing in live tv . Big mistake ever.
