Visited the Hobbs store in Cardiff on Sunday, I fell in love with a pair of trousers but they didn’t have my size. The assistant was amazing & ordered me a pair online for next day delivery & free postage.I didn’t really expect my trousers on Monday but on Tuesday I received an email off Evri saying they had my Hobbs parcel but delivery was delayed. In November & December 3 of my Evri parcels have gone missing & another one was delivered & the box was empty. I have had parcels left by my open gate in view of the road & parcels just thrown over the wall. I’m not holding out much hope of receiving my trousers as I’ve had no further communication from Evri. Why do the likes of Hobbs use a company like Evri.
It took 3 staff to process my small purchase.2 of the staff members were not very friendly.1 member of staff who was a young girl was struggling to process my item but was very pleasant.I found their other 2 not very helpful towards her.
The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff contributed to a very successful shopping trip. I had only gone in to look at one jumper and actually came out with four excellent choices. It was a very enjoyable shopping experience
Parcel delivery not reattempted since last 7 days. Waited on phone to call Hobbs for 30mins subsequently they closed hung up saying too busy. Sent an email 4 days ago to Hobbs - no response. No number to call Evri, raised query through chatbot - no response. Parcel not yet received and no way of speaking to anyone to get this resolved or tracked. Awful customer service for a brand like Hobbs. Will never purchase again from here.
Never in my life have I received a quality item so badly sewn. The back and sides of the neck did not match up. I liked the fabric and fit so asked them to send another out but to check it first. Was refused. They did agree to pay for the return and issue a refund. Vastly disappointed. Ordered from another company.
Totally rubbish website. Never works and they won’t fix it. I cannot order anything properly. Customer service staff are very slow. It’s been several weeks with no reply. They are very unhelpful and do not resolve anything. Order never arrived. Waited on chat for over an hour with nobody taking the chat. They need more experienced staff. This is not what I expect from a store that charges high prices. I get better immediate customer service at fast food joints than this. They can’t order stuff for you in the store but they don’t stock it in the shop. I can’t use my voucher otherwise. You cannot order it to click and collect. What is their problem? It’s like they don’t want my custom.
Purchased a Meryl dress that fits well, but the diamante belt was too long and sewn in despite being advertised as detachable. After 7 weeks of chasing—calls, chat, store visit—I still have no answer on whether this is a fault. Told I was “impatient” when all I wanted was clarity. Quality control and customer care should matter. Now deciding whether to return or pay for alterations.
