The family Pantaleo received us with a warm welcome at there home in Petrosina! The villa has all the facility's that you need for a wonderfull family vacation. Beautifull garden and Villa. Super clean villa. Only thing is that a car rentall is a must.
The appartement itself was lovely, like in the pictures. Very new and beautiful. But when we look at the functionality of it, it was not good. The water of the shower was hot or cold, never a steady temperature. The left sink in the bathroom was glogged. The dishwasher didn't do it's job. The airco's were broken and the terrace had holes in it. We explained everything to the homing people and they came to fix the airco, not the rest of it.
Very clean and tidy house, small dark kitchen, TV upstairs unfortunately did not work, and if you use the stove in combination with the oven, the electricity goes out. If you bake something on the pan on the fire, smoke detectors will immediately cook off, so it is very difficult. If you call the landlord on the day of arrival about this, you will not be heard and you will not be called back. Clean bathroom, lots of extra mattresses, was much too hot upstairs to sleep so we slept on the floor on the mattress downstairs. A kettle is in the kitchen cupboard but with a Privat note on it so not to use, so boiling a bag of water for tea was not possible. Very cool that you do not have to pay a deposit, as well as electricity was very cheap 2.50 NOK / KWuur. You didn't have to pay for water.shopping you have to go to Evje there are several shops and affordable, if you go to Aseral kyrkje bygd you have a COOP where you are ruined to buy a little food. Canoe is for rent in the horse house at the bottom of the mountain. Only very unfortunate thing is, despite there being lighting in the house, it is very dark because of the dark lamps throughout the house, and unfortunately there is no washing machine so washing your clothes is not possible.
Beautiful house in area of Alberes in Empuriabrava. Great privacy, spacious house and garden with small swimming pool, 5 min cycling from beach, walking distance to small shopping center.House well maintained, well equiped.Ideal location for short or (very) long stay.
