I placed an order on September 20th for over $100, but it has not been fulfilled, and I've only received automated replies instead of actual customer service. The company has not delivered the product or processed a refund. I am requesting a complete refund and will pursue an investigation with my credit card provider to recover the funds. I also urge the relevant authorities to examine this company’s practices, as charging customers without delivering goods or providing adequate support is unacceptable.
I placed an order on December 2nd, and delivery was promised within a week. By the 5th, I checked my account on the website and saw that my order was marked as 'Unfulfilled'. I reached out via email but received no response until I followed up on the 8th. They informed me they were changing companies. Today, December 16th, I visited their website only to find it completely shut down, and they are not responding to calls or emails. Additionally, when I checked my PayPal, I discovered they had enrolled me in recurring payments without my consent. This behavior raises concerns about their integrity. I am requesting a full refund.
I placed an order on October 6, 2025, and have yet to receive my products! I even got an email from the CEO of the company, assuring me that my shipment was being prepared on November 8th, but I still haven’t received anything or any acknowledgment regarding my order. I would rate this company ZERO stars if possible, but I had to select at least one. This is an awful experience and incredibly poor business!! 🤷🏽♀️
I placed an order with hollywood hair bar on October 12, 2025. As of today November 28, 2025 I have not received my order. I have sent numerous emails and tried calling several times. I have requested a refund ASAP via email. I am all in for supporting black owned companies. This not a way to run a business. I no longer wish to do business with hollywood hair bar.
I have ordered from this company a few times in the past with no issues. The order I placed before this one I waited a while but not this long. Placed an order on November 7,2025 have not received item yet. The weirdest part is I paid for the express delivery a total of $72.95 for entire purchase. The products I have ordered in the past really worked for my hair. I hope this company is still legit. I have reached out through email with no response back. I also tried to call only to get a recorded message about a huge demand on orders and that all orders would go out soon. I’m just hoping their soon is asap for me. Also, the express option should be removed if it’s not going to be honored by the company. It also should be illegal to take a potential customer’s money if you don’t have the product ready to ship. Really hope this company is still legit. While I love the hair oil from this company, waiting over 20 days for something I should have received in a week is unacceptable. That’s where the one star came from.
I placed my order on 10/28/25 and was paid for. I have yet to receive my products or responses to my email inquiries. However, they keep sending Black Friday emails for sales being offered. This is no way to stay in business. Especially with this being my 3rd purchase in supporting our folks business. So sad and they need to stand on the word and business for ALL customers.
I hate to have to write this review cause honestly the products are great. But within the last few months the business practices have been reduced to outright theft. I was a subscriber since Spring- automatically charged and had the product sent from April thru August like clockwork. Who knows what has happened to the business but from September on- charged but no product. And customer service is completely non existent. The number goes straight to a voicemail, no response to emails. Finally after several weeks o came to the conclusion that I would never hear from them or receive the product I had paid for. I have since opened an investigation with my credit card company. We all work too hard to pay for something we never receive and zero customer service to rectify the issue. Unfortunately this company has gone way down hill and can no longer be trusted with our loyalty or money.
Hollywood Hair Bar is a shady company anymore. Several years ago, I bought hair growth products from them. The products did work grow my hair. However, it's their poor customer service and horrible fulfillment/shipping practices that have frustrated me. I ordered products that should have been received by now. When I visit their website to check the order status, the sane order that I placed two weeks ago hasn't even been fulfilled yet. I reached out to them via Instagram, TikTok, Facebook Messenger, text message, phone call, and 2 different emails. Still, no response through either channel. When I went to their Facebook page to share and inquire about their recent lawsuit filed against them for fraud, guess what? They blocked me. They blocked me but have my money for these expensive products and have refused to give me any explanation about what's going on with my order. To top it off, I paid $4.95 for "expedited" shipping. This is more like snail mail. I nught not have mind waiting if there was communication from them but tbis is totally unacceptable. It's the principle of the matter. You cant swindle people out of their money then hold their merchandise hostage. To add insult to injury, you then ignore attempts to make contact with you. How dare you have the audacity to block a customer that hasn't gotten what they've paid you for. You have a duty to uphold. HHB is deceptive, fraudulent, and evasive. It's sad I had to run you down like this. They are already involved in a lawsuit from September 2025. Im not sre who are the defendants and who is are the plaintiffs. I hope the opposing attorneys are able to see my complaint here and prove your character either way. Im very tempted to put paperwork in on you. Buyer beware!!!!
