I placed an order expecting delivery on the 30th. I sent a simple inquiry about the order, and today I was informed it had been cancelled, supposedly at my request. I never asked for the cancellation. This is very disappointing customer service. I will be looking elsewhere.
I just tried my first meal from their delivery service. It was tasty and satisfying. I'm hopeful that all the meals will be as great as the rendang. The selection on the website is good. Just one note: the packaging says to microwave for 7 minutes, while the site states 5. It's a bit confusing.
The flavor was decent, but the portion and consistency left much to be desired. Once warmed, it resembled pet food, and there was possibly the equivalent of two chicken wings worth of meat. With that kind of mash, it’s definitely not filling, and at £5.95 per dish, you’d be better off cooking at home. I used a delivery service and found their customer service attentive; I'm sure they'll address the portion issues.
Honestly, WOW! We've sampled three flavors so far, and my only complaint is why isn't there more? The portions are outstanding, and the food is some of the best I've ever tasted! Both my partner and I are usually picky with vegetables, but these were cooked so well that we enjoyed every bite! 10/10, highly recommend!
The food is quite good; I have a subscription and receive an order every other week. Sometimes, if I have leftovers in my freezer, I can skip or reschedule my delivery, which is convenient. The prices are reasonable—not too high and definitely cheaper with a subscription.
