They came out to my house and set up the sleep study, which made the whole experience really convenient. The next day I had my results explained clearly so I actually understood what was going on instead of just being handed data.
I was given a trial CPAP straight away which made a huge difference, and then purchased my own machine about two weeks later.
From start to finish the whole process was smooth, stress free and very well organised.
The total cost for everything including the sleep study, consultations and the machine was around $2.2k which I think is very reasonable for the level of service and convenience.
The CPAP has genuinely changed my life for the better.

My partner and I went to Chris at Home Sleep 5 weeks ago after I was continually having to get up and move rooms during the night due to my partner's restless legs as well as snoring. The diagnostic equipment was competently fitted to my partner by a staff member at our home and wearing it whilst sleeping in your own bed is a huge plus. The next morning we went for our consultation to get the results. The consultation was fabulous. We not only got confirmation that my partner has moderate sleep apnoea (which I suspected) and severe Restless Leg Syndrome (RLS) - twitching his legs every 30 seconds - but more importantly, we were given easy solutions. In our case we didn't need a CPAP as the RLS was the prime issue that needed to be addressed. The advice given about preparation for sleep (bed & body temperature, clothing, sleep position, etc) was invaluable. Five weeks on and a few simple changes/suggestions have resulted in a DRAMATIC change in my partner's (and therefore my) sleep. Firstly there is hardly any RLS now. My partner has had maybe 2 small episodes over 5 weeks as opposed to pretty much all night long every night. There has been no snoring either. We have been recording data from the Fitbit app (the amount of light, deep & REM sleep) every day for the past 5 weeks and have noticed a trend upwards in the amount of deep sleep my partner is now getting. For me, I am a good sleeper anyway but not having to get up and move to another room every night has also drastically improved my sleep! We are very grateful to Chris for his excellent service and advice and highly recommend him to anyone with similar issues.
I rented for a month before I bought the machine. I am glad that I did. From the outset I was having problems with the seal and after 1 week the machine stopped. After 1 week they replaced the machine with a new one. The machine worked but the velcro from the head gear came off. This occurred every night and after trying everything I gave up. The design and function of the head gear is very bad. The product is poor and will be letting prospective buyers know. Very disappointed.
A couple of months ago, I stumbled into the Home Sleep office on a Saturday with no appointment, desperate for help with my sleep. Chris welcomed me and looked after me on the spot. The in-home sleep test was great, Chris came over in the evening and set me up with the equipment and I was able to sleep the night in my own bed. The next day I went to the office for the results - they showed severe sleep apnoea with my blood oxygen dipping to 71% during the night. Chris explained all the options and I went home with a new cpap machine which has totally changed my life. I now go to bed every night looking forward to a good, proper sleep. Both Chris and Hayden have regularly been in touch to send me updates and check in with me. Highly recommended if you need quick and personalised care.
Chris and the team made it so easy for me in my sleep deprived, brain dead state.My sleep data was carefully checked through and he showed me where I stopped breathing and what the other data meant, then went through my treatment options.I’m now on day 2 of the life changing treatment and feeling so much more alert, I can’t wait to continue improving now that my body is finally getting some rest!
Looking for a new CPAP machine seven months ago, I got a somewhat cold reception from my regular supplier so I hit Google - and so glad I did.Drove straight over to South Yarra and met Chris in his rather quaint little shop. What an experience - the guy is a walking sleep therapy encyclopaedia. Left there with my new CPAP and a wealth of knowledge I really needed to know but had never been told.
