I can only speak to my experience from Friday, which differs from recent customer reviews. We ordered two wireless controllers, but one arrived defective. The emails on the website didn’t work, so I called customer support. The representative was very helpful and arranged a replacement that arrived in 26 hours, also providing a QR code for returning the defective item. While we were disappointed about the defect and the issues with the emails, I believe the representative deserves 5 stars.
I ordered a set in the Black Friday sale intended as a Christmas gift. I received a delivery notification for a time when I wasn't available, so I requested it to be dropped at a local collection point. Instead, it was taken back to the depot and sat there for 5 days before being returned. I contacted customer service, who took 6 days to respond. When they did, they only asked if I had resolved the issue. I replied needing their assistance since it was sent back, but I still haven't received any response or resolution after 4 more days. I would recommend avoiding this company due to their lack of customer service, and now my child will be without a desired present.
OVER 130 DAYS AND STILL WAITING. I was initially given incorrect information about returning two faulty items under warranty. After an apology and return arrangement, which took a long time, I was told one was fixed and the other was waiting for parts. After multiple follow-ups, I was told the fixed one would be sent, but it hasn’t arrived. I’ve spent a significant amount with this company over the years, and I’ve completely lost faith in them.
My son has recently become interested in model railways in 00 gauge. We live close to the company's location and expected to receive ample help, but our visits led to spending over £800 without receiving the guidance we needed. The staff seemed disinterested and lacked knowledge, resulting in purchasing incompatible items. After trying to resolve the issues, we were denied a credit note for unused items. Ultimately, we had to sell everything at a loss. There was one helpful staff member, but without him, the experience was frustrating.
I returned my locomotive because it wasn't functioning. The company had it for seven weeks without any communication. When I called, they promised to email me back, but I’m still waiting. Eventually, they returned it, claiming it was fine, yet it still doesn’t work. I’ve seen similar complaints, and I won’t do business with this company again.
