Review Time
I visited the store in Formby, Merseyside. I was greeted by a lovely lady, Louisa. Nothing was too much trouble. I had looked through the catalogue at home so I had selected 3 or 4 styles to look at.
Louisa guided me through the ones I had thought of . During the afternoon I was offered a drink and some lovely biscuits. A nice touch.
Louisa pointed out that the chair must be the correct size, we decided the best one for me.
I must have had the undivided attention of Louisa for over an hour and a half. Nothing was too much trouble for her and I was not rushed at all. I was allowed time to consider alternatives.
The quality of the furniture is excellent and the choice is wonderful. Needless to say I did place an order, I look forward to it being delivered.
Having encountered the very ‘pushy’ and non informative approach from similar companies, my son and I visited the HSL showroom, in Henley in Arden, Warwickshire.
My husband was returning from hospital in a few days and we wanted an ‘all dancing and singing’ chair for him.
We were greeted by Claire who was friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable but as importantly, clear about the cost from the outset.
Fortunately the chair we wanted was in their 3 day express range. Delivery was excellent and our chair is beautiful and in full use.

Friendly staff, no rushing or pushing you into something you aren’t sure of very patient and couldn’t be more helpful, delivery drivers Craig and Shane very professional, friendly and efficient, even after travelling down from Leeds in cold, wet weather.
We purchased our 2 new sofas from HSL in Hull. Staff were exceptionally attentive and professional. They offered us advice on colors and styles and and could not be more helpful. This is the second time we have purchased from HSL and we cannot be more satisfied. An exceptional service
Furniture was delivered at the time expected and assembled into our chosen room position. Carl and Lee explained how to dismantle if needed and went over the instructions for use and furniture care.

What a fantastic experience. The staff in Nottingham provided expert advice, encourage you to sit for as long as you like trying chairs to ensure you choose what is right. No matter how many visits we made we were always welcomed and provided with refreshments whilst we continually tried various options and once decided 6 weeks later our chairs were delivered and the quality is amazing. Many thanks indeed for a refreshingly different shopping experience.
We visited the HSL shop twice to decide on which chair would be best for us. Yvonne was very helpful and had great knowledge about the produce and and was very helpful .There was no pressure to buy the furniture and she was very patient and proffesional in her manor .Everything was explained very clearly as to when abd how the furniture would be delivered .I would reccomend this shop highly

I was pleasantly impressed by the young lady Saira who looked after my son and myself and was very though and thoughtful in her presentation. Naturally! Convinced myself what would be best option to suit me.

As my wife and I entered the store, we were greeted with a friendly smile. We were searching for riser/recliner chairs and quickly found what we needed. Both representatives were incredibly helpful and friendly, understanding exactly what we were looking for. Soon, our order for two new riser/recliners was being arranged.
