Finally, I found a fantastic alternative to the Pepcid x alcohol trick! I'm so grateful for iblush. I turn red quickly with just a little alcohol, so I typically take the tablets because they are stronger. I also use their gels and patches when I want a healthier boost of vitamins and antioxidants. Funny story... (I know this is long, but I hope the creators of iblush see this and feel proud!) There was a time my friend drank too much and was sick all night, and I almost had to take her to the hospital, but she insisted on staying in. I kept giving her water and applied several iblush patches on her (out of desperation), hoping it might help, and it actually did! I know you’re supposed to use these products before drinking, but my friend felt so much better the next day. I haven't had the chance to try the product yet due to inaccurate shipping times and difficulty reaching customer service. There's no phone number, and email replies take days. The representatives are trying to help, but they need to hire more staff! I ordered on Nov. 15 and paid extra for expedited shipping to my temporary address while on vacation. I wanted to test these during my trip! On Nov. 24 (6 business days after ordering), I contacted customer service regarding the delay and informed them of my new temporary address. I received a response on Nov. 27, and they mentioned trying overnight shipping to my new address. However, I heard back again on DEC 2nd. In the five days since, I had already requested a refund. I suggested refunding the shipping costs as the company chose a carrier that couldn't meet the advertised shipping times. I didn’t receive the product, so why should I pay anything? I also mentioned I would accept a refund for the product cost per their return policy if they sent a replacement order to my permanent address. Finally, on Dec. 5, customer service only processed a refund for the shipping cost, which is less than the product cost, and they prepared a new order with an extra gift. This is nice, but not enough for a higher rating. There's still no delivery estimate for the new order, confirmed on Dec. 11. Hopefully, my order will arrive soon!
I take two tablets before drinking and sometimes one of the gel products as a boost if I’m having a big night, and it works wonders. It prevents me from turning red, but more importantly, I don't feel sick at all. Usually, my head starts throbbing and my heart races even after just one or two drinks, which is not a pleasant experience, but with iblush, my tolerance seems nearly limitless. It’s pricey when used frequently, but still worth it to me! Honestly, I would pay anything to avoid feeling the way I usually do after drinking.
These are a true lifesaver when it comes to drinking! I can't go out with friends without using one beforehand; otherwise, I feel pretty rough the next day.
