MY HAIR/BEARD TRANSPLANT WAS A DISASTER!Please note: Most reviews of this company were written soon after surgery - ridiculous! This review was written after 21 MONTHS when results were FINAL.Many reviewers of this company have no name or have only ever written 1 or 2 reviews. Doesn't that seem odd to you?Pls READ and $AVE. I spent €3090 with IOM.Surgery 27-4-2022: Got more hairs from donor area than expected (3700 grafts/10,000 hairs). Great!RIPOFF! They said DOCTORS would "perform" (not "supervise") surgery: extraction, channel opening & implantation. I discovered on surgery day, women doing implantation were NOT DOCTORS!SURGERY WAS A JOKE - NOT A STERILE ENVIRONMENT! People walked in & out of room non-stop. Technicians talked & laughed. MOBILE PHONES RANG, WERE ANSWERED & PUT ON SPEAKER! They yelled across room to partners what time they'd be home & what to have for dinner - CHAOS! Interpreter meant to be in room at ALL TIMES. He sat there bored then left. When I asked for interpreter the ladies said "not here". Instead of getting him, I waited 90 mins before he returned. I had questions for ladies doing surgery.I followed aftercare procedures meticulously. For first few mths after surgery, I sent photos. They told me it looked healthy & clean.I was promised WhatsApp consultations after 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 9, 12 & 18 mths. After first 6 mths, I never heard from these guys again. Even in first 6 mths, they seldom contacted me. It was usually ME contacting THEM several days after surgery anniversary.Had small patch of beard missing. They implanted 700 hairs but used hair from my head. Bald spot didn't receive 10,000 hairs - only 9300. I now have fine head hair in my coarse beard. They charged €750 just for anaesthetic required in face. RIP OFF!Lovely hotel but no minibar in transfer car as advertised. I did not get what I paid for including follow-up consultations. They TOOK MY CASH & RAN!They said wait 18 mths to see full results. I emailed photos after 19 mths & they vowed to reply within 72 hrs.Never heard a word for OVER 2 MONTHS until I posted Trustpilot review. Then they emailed WITHIN 2 DAYS!THEN THINGS GOT NASTY!I asked to speak to Head Office in Sweden. They refused, but eventually gave in to my insistence.I spoke on WhatsApp to one of the directors. Let's call him "D1" (he's completely bald). He talked & talked, trying to "tick all the right boxes". I live in Australia. Told him I'd be in Sweden in May 2024 for 9 days.He made me FIRST OFFER: Fly me to Turkey and do reparative surgery. It was CLEAR he did not like my review on Trustpilot.Told him I didn't want to remove my honest, fair review. He EXPLODED & went BERZERK! He yelled that I was impossible to deal with & they didn't want me in Turkey.2ND OFFER: 100% refund. It was CLEAR he did not like my review. Again, I said it should stay online.D1 still FURIOUS, a 3RD OFFER: 50% refund (€1545). Then they would refund other 50%. I actually AGREED to this!After chatting 42 mins, D1 said he'd talk to the other 2 directors.NEXT DAY: UTTER CHAOS & CONFUSION!D1 claimed surgery was OUTSOURCED TO ANOTHER CLINIC, therefore my legal contract was with other clinic. I thought my surgery was done by IOM.He also claimed I denied "Istanbul Manager" was present during my surgery. I never denied that! Apart from him being present, so was "Interpreter" until he left the room.4TH OFFER: Despite AGREEING to their 3rd offer, they were now offering ONLY A 50% REFUND! They'd refund my deposit (€300), then they'd refund the other €1245. I explained if they only refunded 50%, I WOULD NOT MODIFY REVIEW.D1 again lost his temper & hung up on me.From that moment, I only dealt with "Istanbul Manager". Options:- Free corrective surgery but pay MY OWN airfares, hotel, visa & transfers. (5th OFFER)- Or 50% refund IF I AGREED TO THEIR CONDITION.I opted for 50% refund but told them I was disappointed not to get FULL refund.I kept asking for contact details for other 2 directors. I only got silence. They can read this review online.SO WHY DID I RE-POST MY REVIEW?The removal request from IOM was against the rules of Trustpilot and totally unethical. I have reported IOM to every known authority in Turkey.If I could attach photos or answer questions here, I would.After 21 mths, I have maybe 10% of desired hair coverage.In FAIRNESS, if this DODGY CLINIC refunds the other 50%, I will update this review. If you are reading this, I am STILL out of pocket €1545 + €1200 airfares.Try Thailand, Sth Korea, China, India or Germany.THIS CLINIC BROKE PROMISES, LIED & FAILED ME. THEY HAVE TRUSTPILOT VIOLATIONS TOO!NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL!Note: IOM challenged this review claiming it was defamatory. They LOST the challenge.Mark my words: This review is fair & honest.

Everyone at the hospital, from the nurses to the doctors and coordinators, was incredibly accommodating, friendly, and, most importantly, professional and highly skilled.Every step of the process was smooth and well-organized, making the experience both comfortable and reassuring.The entire experience, from start to finish, was very pleasant and the result of the hair transplant exceeded all expectations!

After showed interest, I got contacted by Cem at the clinic in Istanbul. He told me all about the procedure and answered all of my questions. He also talked swedish, so no risk for misunderstandings. That gave me a good feeling, and made me make my final decision about IdealofMeD. I am satisfied from the start until the end. Everything worked out fine, transportation, operation, hotel and so on. I got all information through the treatment that I needed. The staff was kind and professional. After I got home, the clinic sent me more information about the after treatment. I can really recommend Idealof MeD for hair transplantation. So far very satisfied!
From the beginning of the process to the end, Ideal Of MeD was beyond helpful. From my initial correspondence, inquiring about the hair transplant, I shortly received a phone call based off the pictures I submitted. I was told about what procedure what be best for me and the state of my hair's health as well as how many grafts I would get. Fast forward to arriving at the airport in Istanbul. Picked up and taken to my hotel efficiently. The whole time prior to and while in Istanbul, your assigned team is actively messaging you and letting you know what the next step in your process is. All the admin work and labs are done the same day as your procedure. Everything was moving at a great speed along with answering any questions I had along the way. Designing my hairline was done in a way that I could understand and went into the science of where the hairline should stop based off a muscle in your face but ultimately was told I could have whatever hairline I desired. I opted for what was natural for my face and what made sense. The procedure was done with care and no pain. I was fed and given directions once the procedure was complete. The following day was recovery and further guidance on how to take care of my transplant. I am 18 days post operation and still have access to the assigned team for questions and continuous information to best take care of my transplant. Everyone was great from the drivers to the hotel I was put up in, to the staff at the facility and to my designated Ideal of MeD superstar Sevin. Great overall experience and would recommend.
The team was great they did not rush the process and listened to your thoughts and questions you had. In addition the experience they provide with the ride to and from locations that you have to visit was great. During the procedure they explain the process in detail and what was even more helpful is after you are home they provide you with the same service for your questions that you may have.
I recently had my Hair transplant here and the experience was worth it. I truly felt cared for throughout the whole process. Had to remove 1 star because during the operation someone’s was coming and leaving the operation room which was quite irritating to be completely honest. Except for this one thing the rest of the experience was great! Looking forward to my hair growing out fully.
