My hair transplant journey with IdealOfMed began with a video consultation with Halim. From the start, he was superb—polite, highly informative, and, most importantly, very patient, taking the time to answer all my questions.During my research, I had consultations with multiple clinics in both Istanbul and the UK. However, IdealOfMed stood out because they weren’t pushy or constantly trying to secure a booking. Instead, their approach was professional, and their excellent online reviews for the procedure, aftercare, and results reassured me.Once I decided to go ahead with them, the whole booking process was seamless. They provided clear instructions and required details in a highly organised and personal manner, even setting up a private WhatsApp group with everyone involved in my procedure.I arrived in Istanbul on 24/01/25, where I was promptly met by a private transfer and taken to my hotel—Sheraton Istanbul City Centre. The hotel was fantastic, offering 5-star service and breakfast included.On 25/01/25, my private transfer picked me up again and took me to the clinic, where I was greeted by Aryan, my personal assistant for the entire process. From the outset, Aryan was friendly, informative, and, above all, honest—something I really valued.At the clinic, I underwent pre-medical checks, had photos taken, my hairline designed, and my head shaved. They gave me plenty of time to ask any final questions and discussed realistic expectations based on my hair loss.The procedure itself lasted around 7-8 hours. For me, the anaesthetic injections were quite painful, but fortunately, the discomfort only lasted a few seconds.After the operation, the aftercare was exceptional. I felt a bit light-headed and exhausted, but they provided food and drinks throughout the day to help me recover. Aryan was by my side for most of it, ensuring I had a sugary drink and snack before I left. He wouldn’t let me go until they were certain I was back to normal—an extra level of care that I really appreciated.Once again, a private transfer took me back to my hotel, where I was provided with a neck pillow and detailed post-op instructions.On 27/01/25, I returned to the clinic for my first hair wash. They carefully removed the bandages, washed my hair, and provided me with medication, along with clear guidance on how and when to take it.I was also advised to download the Hair Back App, which has been incredibly useful. It offers daily medication reminders, a place to upload progress photos, and great post-op tips.Now, two weeks post-op, I’m back in the UK. The scabs have cleared, the swelling has gone down, and everything is progressing as expected. The hair is looking good so far, and I’m excited to see the results over the coming months.Overall, my experience with IdealOfMed has been fantastic. The aftercare continues to be excellent via the WhatsApp group and the Hair Back App. I’m really pleased with my decision and looking forward to the rest of my hair restoration journey.
The whole package is smoothely done. Easy communication with whatsApp.The treatment from the staff has been great.I havent see the fully result yet but I am exited. To get better I would recomend you to better inform your clients (before the operation) about the aftercare time and all whats come with it due it affect the daily life a lot.
