Review Time
I have had an account with iD Mobile for many years and relish the simple non-intrusive and support. You contract and billing is plain and simple. I get notice of billing every month but very little other intrusion or promos or offers cluttering up my email inbox. When I needed to expand my contract it was all accomplished quickly and easily online in a helpful manner. In the past when my usage of services was simple and undemanding I received the occasional timely and very polite warnings about being close to limits by texts on my mobile. This is fine unobtrusive service.
So far it's been fine and as a 'basic' user I've been quite happy with my plan via Currys. As yet I've not had reason to test their customer services and hope it remains that way. I've reserved one star as I can't envisage the customer service experience.21/11/2025 - Update to review - I spoke too soon. My partner who took out a plan at the same time as myself was told by ID that because they failed to transfer her number across on time that they would credit my partner's account. This has NOT happened and my partner says that they have no contact numbers to call to resolve the issue. So it appears that support post sign up may be a concern after all.
Sim only plan for me, Easy to apply, a one year plan with competitive prices for the bundle, has 30k euro roaming included too. only one major concern was how to keep my existing number. I couldn’t see any info at all about that happened and at one point I thought I’d lost it. But somehow it worked out ok. So, it’s great so far. I’m sure I’ll renew the contract with you at the end too. Thanks
