IG would not accept orders from me this morning on the DAX because of ‘price movements’ I phoned them and was told it was because they were protecting their customers from extreme volatility.

More like protecting their profits.

This company loves taking your money, hates giving it back.

I have been trying since January 15 to transfer my ISA account to IG. IG system seems to have stalled and no-one at IG will investigate. Over 15 emails from me, two phone calls from me, email to complaints and compliance get acknowleded but NO ACTION. Yet my wifes accounts and my share dealing account transferred with 5 star service. Bizarre.

Hacked account and unauthorized withdrawal

My account had been hacked and made an unauthorized withdrawal through credit card without any verification on the card. It's a serious issue and they took 8 days already to review my account but still don't have returned that withdrawal nor reactivate my accoount yet. It's really frustrating that I have tried to reach the team or my account manager on the issue several times but the problem is still not solved.

Lack of Adherence to Standard Trading Principles

The service does not adhere to standard trading principles and instead follows their own customized rules. I appreciate the response regarding the warrant exercise conditions; however, these general principles do not alter the specifics of my situation. I submitted an instruction to exercise my warrants, which was processed, but now I have an outstanding balance due to insufficient funds. The amount of £9,315.53 is still owed, and recovery efforts will continue for this legitimate debt. If I wish to file a formal complaint, I can do so, but this does not exempt me from settling the balance. Unless I want to discuss payment options, the matter is considered explained, and further actions will be taken if payment is not received promptly.
