Travelled just under 3 hours to view a car after speaking with J at IM Car Supermarket, I was advised the car had recently been MOT’d and fully serviced and was ready to drive away.

On arrival I was left standing around waiting to be acknowledged, eventually someone asked if I needed any help so advised them of the car I had come to view, half an hour later another guy came to advise that the particular car was not ‘on site’ and said he’d get it there as soon as possible, considering the journey I’d made I decided to wait, over an hour later with no offer of a tea or coffee the car arrived!

I wish I had walked at the outset as what was presented to me was nowhere near the advertisement! When I discussed my annoyance with Jamal he became extremely abusive accusing me of trying to get a discount, never before in my experience of car purchasing have I come across such arrogance! I’d spent hours getting there and a further wait, then another 45 minutes checking the car over, if it was as advertised I’d have had no issue with paying the asking price and at no point did I try and haggle with him. The plain simple fact is I would not have purchased the car as there was no way it would have been MOT’d legitimately from what I looked at. Previous reviews state similar questionable legitimacy.

I have since found the same car at another dealer that was the polar opposite of my experience at IM.

If you are considering going here, think again and spend your hard earned money elsewhere, somewhere you’ll be treated with a modicum of honesty and decency.

Seriously I can’t rate them low enough.

They want your money and sell you utter mechanical nightmares. When you try and contact them they never ring back. Just excuses and promises. There warrenty is mis-sold, promising all fixes but in reality is not worth the paper its printed on. They have you running between all three to try and sort anything out. Warrenty company, dealership, garage, then back to warrenty all to confuse and shift blame. A 9 year old car has cost me 12000 on finance and a futher 6000 on repairs with the warrenty doing nothing. Their MOTS are worthless just a pass on paper. They wave you off and your tyre blows on the motorway a month later endangering your family. They do not care as long as they have your money.
Do not trust this company at all. Sneaky little commissions. Terrible business, loads you with debt and crap cars onto you then washes their hands of you.

I got Kia Optima 2018 from them in 3 months Need fixing interior light, blind spot mirror on passenger side , mirror adjusted switch, and the best LED headlight, and the biggest problem is with the paint , my mechanic spot the vehicle is not paint correctly when I’m try to speak with them customer service told me „ go to Halfords buy clear paint and paint for yourself „ now the issue is the red paint is missing around hood and tailgate. I’m try speak with Menagger but wait 7 days and nobody call me back , when call again that said they can’t do it nothing. PLEASE DONT BUY CAR FROM THEM , YOU CAN JUST LOST MONEY AND YOUR TIME . JUST DONT BUY !!!!!!!!!!

ABSOLUTE COWBOY DEALER – AVOID AT ALL COSTSThis place is a joke. If you value your money, your time, or your safety, do not buy a car from here.Within weeks of driving away, the car started falling apart. I had to replace a tyre with exposed cords (dangerous and illegal), then the warning lights started stacking up: engine management, parking brake fault, airbag fault, plus knocking from the front suspension. This was all within two months of purchase.Their response? “Wear and tear.” No accountability. No support. No shame. Just a blatant refusal to deal with problems that clearly existed when the car was sold.They are experts at one thing only: getting you through the door, taking your money, and dumping you with a defective vehicle. Aftercare is non-existent. Once the sale is done, you may as well not exist.This isn’t bad luck — this is how they operate. Shifting unsafe cars and hoping buyers won’t push back.Also, be very cautious dealing with “Jamal” — which I strongly suspect is a fake name.Do yourself a favour and run. There are plenty of dealers out there who won’t put you in danger and then wash their hands of it. This is not one of them.You’ve been warned.
