For the third time, I chose Imperial Rent a Car in Athens, and once again they exceeded my expectations. This time I rented a car for 6 days, and everything was absolutely perfect.
From the very first communication to the return of the vehicle, the service was outstanding. The car was spotless, in excellent condition, and exactly as described. The pickup and drop-off process was smooth, quick, and completely stress-free.
What I truly appreciate is their consistency and professionalism every single time I rent from them. It gives me a real sense of trust and reliability, which is very important when choosing a car rental company.
I will definitely choose them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great car rental experience in Athens! 🚗

I hired a full-size car from Imperial Vehicle Hire because I have a family and needed a vehicle suitable for long-distance business travel. Instead, they delivered a Ford Fiesta — completely the wrong class of car and nowhere near large enough for my needs.When I called to get it exchanged, the person on the phone was rude, dismissive, and showed no interest in correcting their mistake. When I then asked for the incorrect car to be collected, I was told, “we won’t be doing that.”I was genuinely shocked by the poor attitude and lack of professionalism. Mistakes can happen, but refusing to take responsibility and treating customers this way is unacceptable.I would strongly advise others to avoid Imperial Vehicle Hire — their customer service is appalling, and they clearly don’t care about customer satisfaction or doing the right thing.
I strongly advise against renting from Imperial Naxos. I paid for a larger car that they did not have available, and instead of providing a proper solution, they gave me a downgrade with a laughable €20 discount. To make matters worse, upon returning the car they noticed a very small scratch and told me it would be considered a minor issue with at most a minimal charge. However, they later withheld €200 from me without justification.This company is unprofessional, dishonest, and operates in a deceptive way. Save yourself the frustration and go with a different provider – Imperial Naxos is not to be trusted.
We had reserved two cars, one for ourselves and one for a couple of friends, for the same rental period, each under a different name and email address. We received separate confirmation emails and two distinct reservation numbers.However, when we arrived, we were told that only one car had been reserved because the bookings “looked the same” due to the identical rental period. Despite the fact that the reservations were made with different names and email addresses, they had unilaterally decided to cancel one without informing us.When we called, they initially said they would resolve the issue by finding another car, but then they completely disappeared.It’s almost impossible to find an available rental car on this small Greek island in August, and this situation has completely ruined our vacation.
For anyone renting a car in Paros, Greece, through Imperial Car Rental, be very careful. The local agency (Car Station) used by the Company is run by two impostors—one, Johnny, a bald guy, and the other, a fat, bearded guy—who lie about their terms and conditions and, even for minor damages to the car, force the renter to pay very high (and undue) penalties. Avoid at all costs!
Hired a car through imperial for 2 days whilst staying in Zante, the whole process was so easy and affordable. I paid an extra €8 a day for the full insurance package which wavered any excess if there had been an accident. One company wanted to charge a staggering €1,000!
A terrible rental.We had a car ordered at this 7 -day rental on the island of Samos.The reservation took place 14 days before arrival.However, no one expected at the airport and when we contacted the rental after half an hour of waiting, they just told us that their probably one car had an accident, and offered us a car more than three times more expensive, which of course we did not accept.If it was true with the accident, they would certainly contact us themselves, and they didn't expect us to call them half an hour after the planned handover of the vehicle. They just made it up.We often borrow cars from other loans, but we have not yet met this terrible behavior.Never again this rental!
