I booked The Emerald Hill Beach Samui with Inspiring Villa and it was one of the best experiences with a rental agency in Thailand, they were very responsive and helped us throughout our vacation. Also, we can book the excursions with them (I booked a day trip)), and they even keep in touch with me after we checked out.
The villa itself is also great, true beachfront, quiet, yet easy access to local restaurants and Samui’s landmarks.

When i first started booking inspiring i wasn't because i saw some reviews on the villa. I shopped around with a few different agencies and they were all quiet slow and crap. Inspiring agent got back to me with good options without being too pushy, One agent Name Myles was working with me to find me the perfect villa even after Mid-night. Thank you Myles for helping out. Its very hard booking for me because I have a big family and they are all picky with the room types so i def recommened them
We didn't find many reviews on Inspiring Villas booking service either, but after several back and forths with the team, we decided to take the risk and go ahead to book with them. ABSOLUTELY DO NOT DO THIS. It is an unreliable service that baits and switches villas up on you at the last minute. Not worth the risk. We were planning a family vacation to Phuket and they switched villas on us three times after confirming and after putting down deposit. After they said they confirmed the first villa we chose, and swearing it was confirmed and after we bought air tickets, they said sorry they couldn't get hold of it and now said they had a different villa for us that was $1000 more a night. They said it came with half board so it was justified. By then we already had our air tickets booked so we had no choice but to go with the more expensive villa. Then a month before the trip, they said the owner wanted to move us to a sister villa because of a construction that was happening in front of it. The original villa was a 9 bedroom and they moved us to a 7 bedroom villa. We were very upset but the construction left us no choice. If you asked me they would have known about construction months ago and should have told us then. When we finally arrived to the villa (the third bait and switch), we were disappointed as it did not meet our expectations. It was modern but not luxurious, at a five star luxury villa prices but 3.75 star facilities. The views and staff were amazing, but the furniture and rooms were reminiscent of a 3.5 star motel. 3 out of 7 of the bedrooms had a horrible sewage smell that could not go away no matter how they "fixed it". The living room and dining room were cramped and not well furnished. The only saving grace was the pool, the view, and the service. We brought up all these issues to Inspiring Villas Phuket booking service and the owner and nothing was done. Stay extremely far away from Inspiring Villas. At least when you book through Airbnb or VrBo they can't switch up on you like that last minute. Very disappointed and it was not a cheap vacation for us either.
We booked a 10 bedroom villa (Serenity villa) with Inspiring villas 6 months prior to December 2023. When I went to pay the second installment a month prior to the stay, the owner unexpectedly cancelled and put us in a spot. We had to hurriedly make a decision to move to two alternate villas instead of the one 10 bedroom villa. Finally We stayed at Moonstone and Sapphire villas from 10th to 13th of Dec, 2023. The villa staff are extremely helpful, are amazing cooks, tend to every need and are very kind and would ask for them specifically (Acha & Naaa) for any future visits.Regarding the premises, they definitely need updates and maintenance. A couple of the bathrooms were flooding and choked drains mixed with sewer water. Several AC units were malfunctioning. Upon arrival our fridge was not working, and the replacement fridge too was not too good. The pools are good. The villas (Moonstone & Sapphire) did not meet the expectations as per the pictures posted on the various websites. I would not recommend these two villas unless they are upgraded.
We booked a family holiday through Inspiring Villas in Phuket, Thailand. Unfortunately the Covid 19 pandemic hit just before we were due to stay (mid April 2020). Inspiring villas were completely uncaring about our situation and only offered us a credit with lots of different rules around the use of the credit. For example, we had to book later this year. They didnt care whether there was any availability for later this year, whether airlines would be back again, the fact that we needed to book during australian school holidays etc. etc. Completely unreasonable. Totally stonewalled us. I would never book through them again and I would recommend that you find a more reputable agent to book through.The response below, (written 6 years later!), and yet we have still received no refund from them. If they really have improved, they would refund us, given this all happened during the start of Covid.
