DON’T BUY A GIFT CARD FROM INTERSPORT - ITS A WASTE OF MONEY.I ordered a pair of shoes on their website using a gift card that was gifted to me by friends. At the end, I got to the order confirmation page that said I would receive a confirmation email with the details of my order. The confirmation email never arrived, so I tried to order again because I thought the order maybe didn’t go through correctly. Lo and behold, my gift card doesn’t work and every time I enter the card details, the website says there is something wrong with the number. I contacted their support and they confirmed the card was active and told me to switch browsers and devices (both actions I had already tried and they didn’t work). I informed them that I did it several times and it didn’t change anything. They were nice enough to apologize about the situation without offering any other solution, just wishing me best of luck.

Bought Helly Hansen hiking boots. Arrived without labels and likely used. Tried them on indoors on the gymstick walkingpad as it is important to know if you can go trust to go on hikes. After very short time feet were injured, caused blisters even size was ok. Returned asap and claimed for refund but it was not granted since they claimed boots are used. Had to deal with very ignorant and absolutely not willing to help employee. It's the last time we shop in Intersport.
I bought a mountain bike from Paphos Cyprus store in the mall, but it had damages and no discount was offered. I accepted this, but when I took it to the beach, the gears were skipping and it was unrideable. Clearly, the bike wasn't tested before being sold. I returned it to the store for a tune-up, but they told me it would take 2 weeks. I suspect they just send it out to a repair shop, which I could do myself and get it back in 1-2 days. This is very inconvenient and time-consuming. Nothing needs to be replaced, just a simple tune-up. Disappointed with the service!
I spent 2 hours looking for several items online using their website, then I ordered and paid. I received a confirmation email, then the order got canceled and disappeared from my account. This is the second time this sh**it happens, and it his happening with other people as well. Please do not waste your time with Intersport online shop. These guys have a sh**it service and website. Shame on you Intersport for lying to us and wasting our time.
I've purchased a pair of CMP snow shoes for 67 Euros in the online shop. The shoes were supposed to be fully waterproof. The shoes arrived on time and everything seemed to be great while using them in the fresh deep snow. Once the snow started to melt it became clear that the shoes are actually leaking and getting my feet wet within 10-15 minutes from leaving the house for a 2-3 hour hike with me dogs. I was only walking in the melting snow, not in actual water.I wrote customer support and told them that basically the shoes feel really great and firm and it might be a manufacturing flaw so I'll be grateful if they could please send me a replacement of the same model. It was of course within the return time. After asking me to take pictures of both shoes from all directions and also of the barcode inside, customer support actually had the audacity to tell me that they cannot replace the shoes or even send me a refund, because I first need to send back the faulty shoes so they could send them for laboratory analysis that may take 2-3 weeks and only if the findings will actually show that they are leaking they will compensate me. So, according to Intersport, I should sit at home, in Bavaria, by the German Alps, for 2-3 weeks, without being able to go out and walk anywhere until Intersport's would gracefully reach a unanimous vote of their supreme Intersport court.They also offered to send me 14 Euros compensation for me to keep the dysfunctional shoes.I never had this kind of experience in my 10 years of living in Germany. It's unacceptable and infuriating. I recommend everyone to stay away from Intersport and do their business with companies who respect our money, our time, and our word.
There`s some very nice sneakers in the Mainz-Taunus Intersport but that woman today keep looking at me like I was some thief. I wonder how she would react if she gets the same treatment somewhere else!If she dislikes foreigners she should work elsewhere.I rather spent my money in Footlocker!
