I uploaded multiple videos and images to InVideo and provided a highly detailed prompt to generate a marketing video for my website. I work with various AI tools regularly, so I understand the importance of clear and specific prompting. I even refined my prompt with the help of another AI tool to ensure clarity and detail.
The result was extremely disappointing. Instead of generating a polished marketing video, the output resembled a basic GIF — mostly static foreground elements with minimal background animation. The composition was unrealistic (for example, placing a yacht on a concrete surface), and the overall rendering quality was very poor. The final result looked nothing like the promotional examples shown in their advertisements.
On top of the poor output, the generation process froze and failed during rendering. The platform provides little feedback during processing, and the interface feels incomplete — as if certain action buttons or controls are missing. Navigation is not intuitive, and the overall user experience feels unpolished.
I requested a refund due to what I consider misleading expectations based on their marketing materials, but was informed that refunds are not possible.
I rarely leave reviews unless an experience is exceptionally good or exceptionally bad. In this case, the experience was frustrating enough that I felt compelled to share it. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this platform.
Save your money and your time.
Misleading Offer. I wanted to give the product a shot. It claimed to be free. It's free to waste hours making a video with their lagging system, but the only way to export it is by purchasing an expensive subscription. That's akin to saying you can have a free apartment—move all your belongings in, but you'll need to pay if you actually want to stay.
⭐ Disappointing Experience with the Service I signed up for the AI service hoping for an easy way to convert my PowerPoint presentations into narrated videos for educational purposes. Within an hour, I discovered it didn’t function as promised — there was no straightforward method to upload my PPTX as claimed, and the interface was quite perplexing. I didn’t even utilize the service beyond the demo/free version before subscribing. When I requested a refund just minutes after subscribing, the support team declined and cited a strict “no refund” policy. Instead of offering assistance, they suggested credits that I neither wanted nor needed. For educators or creators seeking a user-friendly tool: thoroughly test the free version before making a payment. Once you subscribe, you’re locked in — even if the service doesn’t meet your needs. A very frustrating experience with a lack of customer-oriented support.

My experience has been extremely disappointing and a total waste of money. I have rarely encountered such poor customer service. The AI tool failed to function properly, resulting in a complete rework of a video that only needed minor adjustments. I ended up spending even more money to restore the original version, which was still flawed. After multiple attempts to resolve the issues, I requested a refund and account deletion, but was met with resistance and a lack of support. I strongly advise against spending money on this service.
