scam!! I recently lost my mother to dementia and this company was stating by taking part in a quiz it could predict my chances of getting the disease. I have a good radar for scams and I knew that at some point it would ask for money. It was only 2$ so I agreed to pay it but I was immediately contacted b y my bank flagging the transaction up as a scam. They had been trying to take more money from mewithout my know1ledge!
This company's advertising and practices are deceitful. I agreed to pay an amount of $1.98 USD to access my IQ scores and I was careful not to sign up for anything else in case of being scammed!
Two weeks later IQBrain deducted $28 USD for an apparent "subscription" which was not authorised. After requesting a refund directly, they told me that they can not refund me because I had lodged an appeal with PayPal, who had allowed them to deduct funds from my account, without approval.
After submitting what information I had PayPal, including my cancellation (of something I never ordered) PayPal advised me that they had found in favour the vendor. PayPal failed to provide any purchase order or suitable reference to substantiate this.
I have appealed this to PayPal and request they provide this and am exceptionally disappointed to see that PayPal is still enabling this criminal enterprise!
I provided my payment details for a small fee to receive an IQ test result. After that, I was taken to another page for the results. However, I encountered a list of other, significantly pricier items that were all pre-selected and could not be deselected. There was a warning not to hit the back button, or I'd incur additional charges. I assumed this would be the way to resolve the situation. So far, only the minor fee for the test has been processed.
I provided my payment details for a small fee to access an IQ test result. Then, I was redirected to a different page to view the results, where I found a list of additional, much pricier items pre-selected that I couldn't deselect. A message warned me against using the back button, suggesting I'd incur further charges. I assumed this was my exit strategy. So far, only the minor fee for the test has been charged.
I utilized an online platform to assess my IQ, answering 20 questions. To view my results, I opted for the $1.98 option, which included a 7-day premium membership. I noticed in the fine print that it would lead to a monthly fee of about $20. After canceling, I received an email congratulating me on a bonus Ebook, which I hadn't seen mentioned before. They then charged an additional $11 to my account. I requested a refund, but they are only returning $7. I've sought clarification on the Ebook and the refund difference. Be cautious; this site engages in deceptive financial practices. They have since issued a full refund.
I had a disappointing experience with an online IQ assessment platform. I agreed to a $1.98 trial, but they started charging $11.98 without any clear confirmation of a subscription. This seems misleading, and I've seen many others report similar issues. I canceled and requested a refund. Consumers should be aware of this recurring pattern.
Like others, I completed a brief online IQ test and was fine with a small charge, but then I was billed $9.96 and later $28.80 through my payment account. Now I'm seeking recovery directly from the platform, the payment service, and my bank. I'll provide updates.
I agreed to pay $1.98 for an IQ test but later found an additional charge of £11.96 for services or materials I did not consent to. After requesting a refund, they returned only $7.00, so I've involved a payment service to recover the full amount. Just another scam.
I paid $1.98 for an online IQ test, but I was also charged $11.96 without my authorization, and later another $28.80. They only offered an $18.00 refund, leaving me at a loss of $22.76, while the payment service believes it has been refunded.
