I signed up with Oxio and regret it.
Customer service is weak. You never speak to a real person. Everything runs through text messages. Responses come at odd hours. The tone feels dismissive and unprofessional.
I cancelled my service and returned the required equipment. I accidentally included my own personal router in the return box. Instead of contacting me, they threw it out. Then they charged me 130 dollars for what they called unreturned equipment.
They made no effort to resolve the issue. No phone call. No accountability. No ownership.
If you value clear communication and fair problem solving, look elsewhere
I have used oxio for a couple of years now. The internet connection is poor, I have had many issues with them. Their customer service is very unhelpful and typically leaves me to try to resolve the issues on my own and takes a very long time to get back to me with the advice to just reset the modem. I would not recommend them to my worst enemy.
If I could give zero stars, I would. Avoid this service; it's a complete letdown. Expect to spend 20 minutes chatting with AI before finally connecting with a representative, only to spend another half hour without any resolution. Frustrated, I canceled my service before it even started and returned the equipment. They promised to credit my account upon receipt, but that never happened. After reaching out repeatedly, I was told it would take 7 to 10 days to process the return. Today is the 22nd of January, marking 10 days, and still no refund or communication from them. This service is incredibly untrustworthy and deserves scrutiny. Save your time and well-being.
This is the worst internet service I have ever encountered. I have to reset my network daily, and my connection drops constantly. The only advice from the support team is to unplug my modem for a minute. I would not recommend this service to anyone.
I've been a customer for a while, but my modem has failed and I've been unable to get assistance. All I encountered was a live chat with an automated system, leaving me waiting for an hour without any resolution. Currently, I have no internet access. After two years with this service, I want to share my honest perspective: it’s generally reliable. I sometimes experience TV speed delays (hence the 4 stars instead of 5), but other devices run smoothly. I use the 75 Mbps plan—perhaps higher speeds could help with the occasional TV issue, but it’s manageable considering the savings. What I value: no hidden fees, no contract, and easy setup (activated without a technician). You can also get your first month free (just use a code from my previous review). Overall, it’s not perfect, but it’s a very affordable and reliable option.
