A complete rip off of a company who are not interested in animals at all. Pricing is out of this world. 500 pounds for an ecocardiogram which costs only 200 if you have one at a private clinic in London.
This company makes hundreds of millions in profit every year. Even the vets who work for them are embarrassed with the prices they charge.
They need to be regulated by the government on the amounts they charge as they are almost bankrupting their customers.

This corporation owns Coombfield vet in Axminster. Always profit above care. Will deliberately extend treatment at the expense of the pet for financial gain.

Since these Venture Capitalists took over the Park Vets in Watford the service is purely profit over care. Prices have risen astronomically and the mark up on medication is farcical. We have a 16 year old cat who has suffered with Feline Herpes Virus for over 5 years, it’s manageable and he has flare up every so often. They will not give us the medication we know he needs without us taking him in, very stressful for all of us ! they will do a video call !!! i’m sorry this is box ticking and profiteering, we’ve now had enough! be careful of these private equity establishments !

Since taking over Staid Vets in…

Since taking over Staid Vets in Beaconsfield, UK, the charges have increased and we have been bombardwd with notices and phone calls to attend the vets including a new 6 month nurse assesment. They are all about how do we get more of your money, typical venture capitalists!!

Avoid any vet taken over by IVC Evidencia like the plague!

Our lovely independent vet practice in Suffolk was taken over by IVC a few years ago. When our last dog died in 2019 we were sent a bill 30 days after she died with no pressure to pay until we were ready to. The bill was £135 for a home euthanasia. Since then IVC has taken over the practice. A few weeks ago our other dog died. For the same service ie a home euthanasia IVC this time it was £423, a 250% increase in 6 years for barely one hour of time and a lethal chemical. This feels scurrilous and profiteering. In addition when we rang to tell the vet it was time and could they come they demanded payment there and then. They have shown a total lack of humanity. They don't put animal welfare first they put profit first. Having delayed paying the bill for 5 days as we were grieving we have now been sent a letter demanding payment or face a 4% surcharge of the bill all couched in faux caring language. it was nauseating. They are a disgrace. Sadly I wont return to our vets whom we have been with for many years, when we next have a dog but will look for a local independent vet who we can hold more to account for prices. The recent Panorama program and the outcome of the CMA enquiry don't come close to unmasking the scurrilous and money grubbing nature of this company.

Being ripped off for drugs

This is not a complaint against the individual vet, but rather the mark up being made on drugs.was charged £80 for one drug and £55 for the other, when they are available to buy for £34 and £18 respectivly

Gerechtigkeit für Tiere
Gerechtigkeitfurtier

It breaks my heart to have to write this: through the actions at their clinic in Hofheim, Germany, we lost our furry family member.Has anyone else had similar experiences? Have you tried taking legal action against them or filing a complaint with the Tierärztekammer? If so, or if you’re considering it, I’d love to connect and exchange experiences.

IVC are killing vet practices and PETS…

IVC are killing vet practices and PETS as they just do nothing but encourage vet practices to make money and hit targets! A stray cat turned up at my house, it was clearly in no fit state to be outside and was showing clear signs of antifreeze poisoning. My partner took the cat to the vets yet the vet claimed the cat looked fine and to let it back out. They also claimed the cats microchip was registered in the street it was found in, it wasn't. My partner brought the cat home and kept the poor girl warm until a rescue turned up to take her. Unfortunately the stray cat didn't make it and the vets didn't even bother to contact the owner at the point of arrival when it was taken there originally. Due to the sheer amount of neglect from the vet on duty this cat suffered for 12 hours when this could've quite easily have been prevented but no because it's a stray and not a paying customer they didn't care less. The vet has a duty of care, which has been abused in this case and I sincerely hope she receives some for of reproductions from this. We also have a picture of the cat before it was taken to the vets and every person that has been shown this agreed the cat doesn't look well at all!

Check to see if your vets is part of this group

IVC took over the local vets and left the branding to appear it is independent. This company has been investigated for reducing local competition. Its pricing has been found to be 20% or more than independent vets.
