Customer service is very good, I had to cancel my Christmas order because I had placed it too late so it would be able to arrive on time, and they were quick to respond and very understanding:)

I ordered my custom Box several yesrs ago (so no subscription box, but everything I always wanted to try)It took some time to arrive but it was worth it. I absolutely love japan candy and crisps. Neru Neru and the DIY boxes are so fun to do (I do note like the taste, but still would make them over and over again) I got a nice balance of sweet and savoury goodies, and I absolutely love the caramel corn🤤🤤.You are absolutely adorable, always there to help, you answer very fast on peoples requests, you are really kind. I had an absolutely amazing experience with you guys😊 I hope to be able to buy again soongreetings and all the best to you❤️

Horrible company do not buy!

Placed an order 2 months ago. NEVER received it . The tracking does NOT work . It’s been “stuck” for more than a month now ! They keep repeating it should arrive to me soon. Yeah okay. Wanted a refund since it’s way exceeded the shipping time. They didn’t want to refund me . But they literally said the shipping is up to 4 weeks. Yeah okay well, it’s been 9 and a half weeks now. Nether the less, after I finally managed to get a refund, (& not through them) they been trying to pull back their package through the delivery company. it’s Funny how you guys wrote you will send me another package for free . just horrible company with horrible behavior towards costumers. Do your self a favor and go to japan crate or Tokyo treat instead.Had a lot of patience at first but now I have to write a bad review.(Updated review from November 8th)Adding another comment from November 14th:So I got the package today. After more than two months. Ordered it on September 11. Guess what ? Almost everything is expired!!. Worst part is , I ordered it on September 11 , some of the products were already expired when they packed the package !!! The expiration date says September 10! I have photos to proof and everything I swear I’m shocked Please stay away!!!

Had a great experience with Japan Candy Store

At first I was very skeptical ordering from this foreign website (I'm from Germany), but decided to give it a try. The delivery was very quick considering the shipping country (Japan I think). I was very pleased with the customer service as they processed the order quickly. Japan Candy Store definitely deserves a 5 star rating!

Be ready of miscommunication

I wanted to send some chocs to my partner in Singapore but I was based in the UK. I found this store and immediately wonder if it was a scam and had to verify it from review sources such as Trust Pilot. Happy to see the good reviews, I made my order and waited. Their customer team responds rather quickly which is great. Finally I received shipping confirmation only to realise is just a piece of shipping information (Meaning DHL knows JapanCandyStore are shipping a parcel with them but the parcel hasn't been passed to them). It was through DHL and I was willing to pay more so that it would arrive sooner at the destination. So I waited and waited and waited. I asked DHL and they kept telling me that the parcel had not been passed to them for four days. On day 4, DHL received the parcel and immediately shipped it. JapanCandyStore, meanwhile, on day 3 told me it was "now" on its way after 2 working days have passed. I became impatient because I paid for DHL but I got a service less than that. It felt scammy because you are paying more for a service that you are not getting. When I send a not-so-happy email to customer service, suddenly the replies stop. I wonder why? Now I am concerned about the product state given the service I got. Call me a Karen or whatever but I was willing to pay more for a courier service. If I wanted a slower shipment, I would have paid less. So JapanCandyStore, please acknowledge your customer. Is a lot of money given to you especially given the economic state right now. As a business operator, you can at least be transparent with the customer about why there was a delay to help me understand the situation as opposed to saying we are "now" sending to DHL on Day 3 (2 working days wasted) and somehow DHL only processed and sent out in Day 4. I will update this review when the product arrives to comment about its arrival state.
