I stumbled upon Japan Candy Store while looking online for one of my favorite candies I used to buy in San Francisco. I was excited to not only find what I was looking for, but also a variety of other treats I'd never tried. I would suggest sorting by "in stock" when browsing their products, otherwise you may be disappointed to realize something you wanted is out of stock.The shipping can take a little while, but considering they ship from overseas I don't mind. My order was nicely packaged with cute heart shaped packing peanuts and everything arrived intact and delicious. I've already placed another order and I will undoubtedly continue buying from them for the foreseeable future.
I ordered them twice, in October last year and now in March. The last time I got chocolate melted unfortunately despite the mild weather in October. I hope that my order this time does not come melted. And with regard to customer service, it is very excellent, as they care about the customer and their opinion even after the order is fulfilled. But I have a negative note which is that most of their products are out of stock and it seems to me that they come in few quantities and quickly run out.Overall, I am happy to deal with them.
I received my goods before I was even charged. So the shipping is on point (especially for corona times!). Outside of being a busy (often sold out) store, I can see why. The prices are extremely decent for goods coming from Japan and I was satisfied with the majority of my purchases. Overall a lowkey pleasant experience.
