I purchased 2 tickets in December for A Tribute to the music of Harry Potter(1.3.26 at Victoria Hall, Bolton)from Jenmat Productions. By chance, I saw recently that the concert had been cancelled. There has been no communication from Jenmat. Victoria Hall say this concert was never booked with them. There has been no response to a request for a refund from Jenmat. They used Ticket Tailor to supply the tickets, and refunds cannot be made by them.
So, I agree with other reviewers, that this company should be avoided, and I will do a lot of research in the future before booking tickets to these sorts of events.
Our five year old came to the How To Train Your Dragon concert, having already seen the Harry Potter show, to see mummy and daddy playing in it and because she likes those stories. She said she enjoyed the lights and liked it when daddy played on his own. She enjoyed being in the crowds of people enjoying it too, seeing the big group of people playing the music. She still comments on recognising the music whenever it comes on the radio or when we have the soundtracks on. It’s been lovely to share some quality music making with her, an experience she can add to with other live music events in the future
Would highly recommend seeing one of there concerts. So much time,effort and preparation goes into each performance. Sad to see such negative comments towards a company who are trying to bring pure entertainment to many people. Please ignore the the negativity, go and experience a show yourself, you won't be disappointed.
Had a wonderful evening at the venue listening to the orchestra performing Holst's The Planets. Despite some skepticism from earlier feedback, everything went smoothly. There was some confusion at a nearby location earlier in the week, but we received an email and arrived at the venue to find a full auditorium and an orchestra ready to play. It was a great night with amazing music. Apologies to those who weren't able to attend.
Echoing previous feedback, the concert in Chester was cancelled. I was promised a refund but am still waiting. Attempts to get in touch have made it seem like a scam. The website appears hastily assembled, listing similar events. Upon checking, I found that the company's address is just a temporary office. There is also no contact number available.
