Mohamed Nasser has been the most amazing tour guide, he was outstanding with his knowledge, experience and enthusiasm for Egipt.
Thank you Johnson Holidays for this experience, for people which work for you, Soliman who waited for us at the aeroport, took us to the hotel and he kept in touch.
I will definitely travel with you again.

I tried to book a holiday via Johnson holidays who were the providers for a deal I had seen on the cheekytrip website. I was busy working so clicked the instant chat button. The conversation soon moved over to whatsapp and we continued to discuss over whatsapp. After finding a deal for me and my 3 friends I was happy to go ahead and book but I wanted a phonecall before I sent £400 to somebody as you can never be too sure.
I didnt feel safe as there was no blue tick next to the number contacting me on whatsapp. The man's name Rakesh was very helpful until I couldn't send the deposit as there was a card error my end.

After this I was so pressured and bombarded by message after message and emails that I completely shut down and didn't feel safe sending any money to this person. I understand prices change if you dont pay on that day but thats up to me.

I went from being excited to book a holiday to feeling like I was being scammed and left anxious and stressed for a good few hours after this experience. Johnson holidays lost a customer....if it was even them!

Exercise caution when considering a Nile cruise with this service, as my experience, along with others' reviews, suggests they promise you a top-tier boat and instead provide a subpar one. In my case, the vessel was dirty, poorly maintained, and potentially hazardous. The responses from the support team ranged from dismissive to outright insulting.
I shared a photo of an electric socket that was loose in my room, and they remarked that it was 'slightly tilted.' When I mentioned the lift not functioning properly, they stated, 'The boat does not have a lift.' I reported a persistent foul odor in the corridor due to a blocked toilet, and they dismissed it as 'Egyptian fragrances.' I highlighted three excursions listed on our itinerary that we missed, and the response was that those trips were never included.
After sending them a copy of the itinerary with the trips marked, they completely ignored my email. This appears to be their usual tactic; they choose to ignore complaints in hopes that you will just give up. I haven't received any communication from them in weeks, despite their claims of taking my complaint seriously.
Upon returning home, I submitted a detailed complaint and was told they would investigate within 28 days. They later requested an additional 56 days for the inquiry, and apart from a minimal compensation offer, I have not heard back. This trip was meant to be a dream vacation for my friend and me, who saved diligently to make it happen. We did our research, looked into the promised vessel, and checked reviews. In hindsight, most of the positive feedback pertains to the booking process or airport check-in, not the actual holiday experience. We had no way to know that the service would change our boat. So far, I've received four different explanations for the change: scheduled repairs, urgent maintenance, technical issues, and food safety concerns. Having seen the promised boat during our unfortunate cruise, none of these reasons appeared credible.
