Just two hours before my scheduled appointment, I received a call stating that due to the complexity of my medication regimen, I was deemed too high risk to treat and was discharged immediately. This was surprising, as there were no concerns raised during my intake or the transfer of my medical records. I was left without access to essential medication and had to return to my previous provider, incurring additional costs for a new appointment. Overall, this experience was incredibly frustrating and has been the worst I’ve encountered in seeking mental health care.
