My husband and I had a really good time on our trip. We saved the reveal for the airport and we were so surprised to be matched with Slovenia! We enjoyed every aspect of the trip that Journee planned and appreciated the free time that we got to explore on our own. We felt safe and comfortable during the whole trip. We would definitely do this again!
I went on my second Journee this year. Exceeded my expectations again. Very happy. I went on an excursion I would never have booked myself thinking I wouldn't enjoy it. Great way to do something different somewhere you may never have thought of going to. Will book another next year for sure. I enjoy the build up of guessing where I might be going.

Journee even supplied restaurant recommendations and local sights to see this came in both hard copy and digital. I truly cannot fault anything! I absolutely LOVE Journee! I've taken 3 trips with them, and each one was just as memorable as the next, if not more so. I love both the simplicity of not having to plan but also the surprise aspect of it all. I'm not usually one for surprises, to be honest, but the pub quiz type of clues that are sent make it so much fun (especially if you don't cheat and Google the answers). Even with the in-depth quiz that you take to personalise the trip, the fact that Journee doesn't send you to the typical tourist locations makes it a surprise. They do send you a packing list the week before you leave to help while not giving away the location. However, if you can't wait until the airport to find out where you're going, you can open the reveal envelope when it arrives, but it's so much more fun to wait until the airport and then post your reaction on your socials. My friends and family really enjoy finding out with me where I'm going.I HIGHLY recommend at least taking the quiz and getting a proposal. You don't have to accept it but when you see the description and excursions that they plan (again, with only enough information to keep you guessing), you'll want to book it immediately. Give it a go and have fun! You won't regret it.
We could not be more pleased with our Journee experience!! The destinations were WONDERFUL and definitely not something we ever would have picked for ourselves! We ended up loving the planned tours--it was an amazing opportunity to meet people from all over the world and chat and get to know them on a small scale. The cost was more than reasonable--especially given the quality of our accommodations! We will definitely be traveling with Journee again!
We just returned from our Journee trip to Romania, and it was absolutely incredible! Our itinerary took us to three very different locations, and while we enjoyed every stop, our favorite experience by far was visiting Peles Castle—it felt like stepping into history, rich history!We opted not to receive any of the clues beforehand, so the reveal was a true surprise, we were clueless literally!Honestly, Romania is not a destination we would have chosen on our own, but now it’s one of our favorite places we’ve ever visited. The mix of history, architecture, stunning landscapes, and welcoming people completely won us over. Journee curated a trip that opened our eyes to a country we might have overlooked—and we’re so glad they did.
We took a gamble and it massively paid off! Our friends and family couldn’t believe we were booking a surprise trip, they were more nervous than us! We had a fantastic time and after all the wedding planning it was perfect not to be planning anything! Journee took care of everything!Our surprise destination was Croatia but so much more with all the activities planned for us. Our accommodation was great, a really convenient spot from which to get around. The pace at which all the activities and excursions took place was perfect with lots of free time to do our own thing too. We would highly recommend downloading the Journee link to your phone home screen as this was a really quick way of finding out all the info we needed. The maps sent to us were very useful and we knew that if we needed any help we could call on Journee at any time. They were very communicative throughout the experience. All the companies that activities were booked through were very good. One experience had to be rescheduled due to weather and they were quick to get in contact and reorganise this for us. We have no complaints and would highly recommend giving this a go! We have already put a down payment for a future trip with Journee as we enjoyed it so much. We can’t wait to see where end up next time! Thank you Journee!

This was one of our favourite trips away, zero stress, all organisation is taken out of your hands and we had the best time. The clues and communication you receive keep you excited up to the day of your trip. Our destination was amazing and matched us perfectly, the itinerary and destination guide plus little extras were the icing on the cake and ensured we got the most out of our trip. We will definitely be doing another one soon!!
