Review Time
Things have been insanely busy at work and, as much at I needed an adventure, I'd just not had time to plan anything. I'd seen Journee all over my Instagram and had heard of one person who had been on a Journee, so decided to give it a try. The 'bucket list' feature was what sealed the deal for me. I didn't want to be sent to somewhere I'd already been or be disappointed, so I picked six countries I'd not visited but would be excited to see, so I knew I'd be happy no matter what.To limit the time I spent on planning and not be too distracted from work, I didn't cheat and waited until I was at the airport to find my destination. I was off to Sofia!The whole trip went very smoothly. I was impressed by all the little details like a shared Google Map with recommended restaurants all across the city so you never had to do any research on your own if you didn't want to. The printed, personalised guidebook of all the places I'd see was fun to read on the plane and it even told me which app to use instead of Uber so I could download it in the airport.The trip was smooth and fun with good accommodation and high quality excursions that I would have picked myself. I appreciated the team's responsiveness on WhatsApp, which was very helpful.The whole trip was perfect for a low-risk, fun, safe, solo holiday. I would probably want more control if I was off on a dream trip of a lifetime, but for a fun trip away it was a really great way to travel. All of my friends and colleagues were excited to find out where I'd been. I'll definitely book with Journee again!
Totally the BEST vacation I've ever had. The company is phenomenal with communication and the experience I had surpassed any expectations that I had. I LOVED where they sent me and the experiences they picked out. I signed up for another one immediately and I expect I will go on many more. Super value for the money and no hassle travel. Highly recommend this company and this experience!!

I would 100% recommend Journee to anyone wanting a custom-made international trip.

I stumbled across Journee and was intrigued. I loved the idea of someone else doing all the work but the always in control side of me was sceptical. I received a couple of fabulous proposals and read many reviews here before I decided to push the book button. I had a week in the sun in March, I had guessed purely because I had been there before albeit a very different part.The lead up clues were often enough to keep excitement levels high and the pre trip information was spot on.I didn’t wait until the airport to open my pack - as soon as it dropped onto my doormat a couple of days before I opened it and was very happy.Accommodation was spot on, everything was within a quick walk, the excellent experiences were easy to get to and had all the information needed, I wouldn’t necessarily have booked those experiences myself but they were fabulous and again a great lesson in trying something new and just doing!As a solo traveller I was extremely comfy mooching about and eating out on my own. I also met a couple of other Journee explorers, some of our experiences overlapped - which was nice without being overbearing like a trip with the same people over and over. My flight out had very little leg room but a quick message on WhatsApp meant that the team organised extra legroom seats for the return leg.Overall this was a fabulous experience, a new comfort zone gained and with my biggest decisions being where to go and what to eat every night. The recommendations on the pack were spot on and a few extra gems were found where I was welcomed like a local.Highly recommended, so much so that I’m about to book my next one!
I booked a solo trip to travel in March 2025 through Journee. They sent me to Italy, which was on my bucket list of places to visit. I know they advertise to wait until getting to the airport to view your destination, but I really wanted to look and be prepared for where I was going, since I was going solo to a destination I’ve never been to. It’s fantastic to just pay and show up for the trip. I didn’t have to spend months researching and looking through travel guides. Journee is a great option for low stress planning and solo female travelers. I highly recommend booking a trip and I plan to book another for myself.

WOW!! just WOW!! well this was our first ever trip with Journee. I took a chance on a company I knew little about. It massively paid off, we were headed to Florence. An unbelievable way to spend my birthday. Myself and fiancé headed to Gatwick and the adventure began, Love this concept and have told everyone I know to try it at least once. I have always organised the holidays as, I did with Spain a few months later. BUT this trip was all organised and we were able to experience places in Italy we would never have seen/done. The guided tour was both fun and informative, the trips to villages and even had time to see master butcher Dario Cecchini ( my partner was super excited). All our travel apart from the bus to Pisa and the shuttle back to the airport were organised. We even had a coach trip. 'The Hotel Executive' was so lavish, breakfast included. Located in a cute town centre, close to the amenities and traditional restaurants. From those who like to have the organisation and planning to those who are now Journee converts, we will definitely book with them again. Thank you Journee!
