I informed them of my overseas trip well ahead of time and confirmed everything before departing. However, when I arrived, they imposed numerous impossible demands. Due to restrictions in the US, I couldn't access their site to view forms or upload documents, as it was blocked abroad. I also couldn't retrieve my documents from US financial institutions. They threatened to keep my deposit for non-compliance, starting this stress just 2.5 weeks before closing, despite their own policy stating that final documents would be requested 30 days prior. This was the most stressful experience of my life, entirely due to their negligence. I have never felt so mistreated and nearly walked away from the deal because of it. This ordeal has overshadowed my happiness in my new home, as I constantly remember their appalling treatment. I had to refinance just two months later due to the unfavorable mortgage terms. The pain from this experience lingers, and I strongly advise others to steer clear of them. They never offered an apology for their terrible service.

It’s incredibly frustrating to have a legitimate warranty issue ignored despite reporting it in time. Being passed back and forth with no accountability is unacceptable. Buyers deserve better communication and support. I hope this review prompts a response and leads to a resolution, as it seems to be the only way to address this issue.

A zero-star rating for service would be more fitting. We purchased a home from this company in 2019, which supposedly comes with a 10-year warranty on the foundation in addition to the standard 1-year warranty. A couple of years after our purchase, we noticed two surface cracks on the bricks of our foundation, and the company responded to repair them quickly. The repairman advised me to inspect the foundation annually and report any new cracks within the warranty period. Fast forward to 2024 when I noticed a similar crack in a different spot and reported it. I had to make multiple calls to even receive a response. After much back and forth, I received an email stating that surface cracks are normal and I should fix it myself. I questioned why the previous cracks were repaired under warranty while this one was not. What changed? Good customer service would dictate that the company should cover the repair as well. I'm still waiting for an explanation. The moral? Don’t fall for the enticing 10-year warranty promise during the sales pitch. It sounds good but the company will go out of their way to deny your claims. They seem to prioritize avoiding responsibility over actually addressing issues. There are plenty of builders out there who still value good customer service after the sale, but this company is not one of them, and based on my experience, I cannot recommend them.
We had an awful experience with this company regarding defective flooring and several other issues. My trust in this industry has been severely compromised after dealing with their so-called homeowner services team. They fabricate excuses to cover their failures and leave home buyers to bear the financial burden of repairs on a new house. For instance, in recent months, we spent thousands replacing defective, poorly installed flooring and ceramic tile that had issues. This followed over a year of inconsistent promises and visits from the builder’s staff and subcontractors, culminating in failed arbitration due to missed deadlines. They excel at deception and are not hesitant to mislead to avoid taking responsibility for problems in their newly built homes. They support poorly performing subcontractors rather than the home buyers.
