I wish I’d known to look on here before buying my kitchen aid to see all the other bed reviews . Although I’ve had my kitchen aid for 3 years, i have used it a total of 5 times. All the cutting devices still have their protective plastic on. It stopped working on its 5th outing! I called kitchen aid who were no help as it’s over 2 years old. TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY .
Purchased a kettle and toaster over £300 the cast iron coating on the kettle has started peeling off although products come with 3 year warranty this apparently is cosmetic wear! And not covered for repair. Terrible products for the cost I won’t be purchasing kitchenaid again! excessive cost and terrible quality I have had kettles that cost £25 last a lot longer than this one has. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND
Both the original Kitchen Aid product and the replacement broke - the temperature gauge- within 3 years. I paid over Euro 200 for this product we had it in our holiday home - so it was hardly used. Yet a cheap OK kettle I purchased and used daily in our home - cost just over Euro 20 and broke down after 7 years. The moral of this is that Kitchen Aid products may look good, but they are over priced and shockingly unreliable. Don't be tempted really. Additionally, their service centres are not particularly contact friendly. You will be left hanging on the end of the phone whilst they direct you or will be spending hours dialing their number. If only I knew beforehand. Shocking company.
I am incredibly frustrated with the…I am incredibly frustrated with the service I have received from KitchenAid after purchasing the Artisan Kettle and 2-slice toaster to complement our dream kitchen. Initially, I was thrilled with the bundle deal and the products looked beautiful upon arrival. However, our excitement turned into disappointment when we realized that the right-hand slice of the toaster was not toasting one side of the bread.Upon contacting the workshop number provided, I was informed that the toaster was within the warranty period, and they would replace it without any hassle. But my experience took a nosedive when I reached the customer care number. The person who attended to me seemed disinterested and stated that I had to send the faulty toaster back and then reorder a new one. This was problematic because the bundle deal I originally got was an excellent offer, and reordering the toaster separately would cost me more. After much back-and-forth with different representatives, I was told that they could offer me a 20% discount on a new toaster purchase. Reluctantly, I agreed, but even with the discount, I was still out of pocket. When I attempted to get this sorted with the assistance of another representative, I faced even more frustration. She made an error with the return label, which listed my address as the delivery address. When I brought this up, she failed to provide any real solution, and it felt like I was going in circles. The lack of options and the inability to speak to a manager added to my frustration. I tried to escalate the issue, but apparently, there were no managers available, and the team coach was only accessible online. Despite requesting a callback, I never received one. When I returned to the workshop team, they seemed uninterested in addressing the issue and suggested that the problem might not even be a fault but a design flaw. To add insult to injury, they indicated that no recall or rectification would take place. At this point, I feel like my only option is to send back both the kettle and toaster, which is a major inconvenience, considering there's nothing wrong with the kettle. All I wanted was a working toaster, and I'm disappointed that KitchenAid refuses to address this issue properly. This experience has left me with a sour taste, and I'm not inclined to repurchase from KitchenAid or recommend their products to others. I had hoped for a straightforward resolution, but it seems like KitchenAid has decided that I should be content with only one side of toast toasted.Date of experience: 25 July 2023
I have just bought the KitchenAid 2.1 L food processor.I thought it was excellent value for money when I saw it online at Lakeland. It arrived yesterday, and I couldn’t believe that it was manufactured mostly from plastic. It is lightweight, and when I tried to make breadcrumbs from 2 day old bread, the machine moved around on the kitchen counter. The breadcrumbs were too large. This is not a quality product, unlike the KitchenAid mixer. Why is such a reputable brand manufacturing plastic goods?I cannot stop the machine from jumping around on the countertop. I have looked online and followed the troubleshooting advice, without any success. Buying online is not for me.
This is the second mixer we have ordered from kitchenaids. The first MIXER BOWL-LIFT 6.9L - HEAVY DUTY 5KSM7591X didn't even turn on. We have returned the mixer. We ordered a second smaller mixer MIXER TILT-HEAD 4.8L - ARTISAN PREMIUM 5KSM185PS for which we were offered an additional 10% discount. it was nice - thanks. But the next disappointment came quickly. The mixer was bought for kneading bread and other yeast dough, but it does not cope. When kneading, the mixer works with noticeable heavy effort. A black liquid, probably grease, leaked from the mixer several times, I had to throw everything away. If I could, I would like to return this mixer too. This mixer is not at all what we dreamed of.
