Nate is very passionate about supporting his customers and is very active on the community forums. The products are great, I'm using multiple Konnected products and have no issues. They are well priced and well supported. Businesses and people like Nate need to be supported to ensure they continue to deliver great products and services.
Konnected makes it easy to upgrade or update your old alarm system to a new, online, smart home enabled format. I purchased an older model back in 2021, which I never got around to installing. Finding the need to make an update this year, I went ahead and purchased the newest model and made the switch from an older wired DSC model to Konnected. I’ve since integrated it with SmartThings and made a ActionTiles panel on a Kindle tablet and it’s so much more interactive and better than the previous system no one would even service!
Everything went smoothly. The ordering process was easy and quick. Installing it into my existing security system went smoothly. Integrating it into Home Assistant was easy. The only minor glitch in the whole project was my misunderstanding in switching it from hardwired Ethernet to WiFi. When it asked me for the SSID/password, I thought it wanted that of my home WiFi. Instead, it wanted me to make something up to make the Pro board a WiFi node.
I had difficulty with the installation of the ,blaQ GDO I contacted tech support late Friday thinking it would be Monday before I would hear back and they responded quickly they determined that there was a problem and ordered me a replacement that weekend. I received the replacement and installed it with no problem. Love the homeassistant integration.Thank
